The place is nice and secluded in nature. Simple, clean and comfortable accommodation in the jungle which fits the experience. The food (breakfast, lunch and dinner) is plentiful and you will not go hungry! The walk to Meemure and the lakegala view is around 30-45 minutes on the road. Meemure does not have a village centre or hub, it's comprised of house and guest houses scattered along the road (there is one shop and an ATM, so don't expect cafes and restaurants). So staying here rather that Meemure "centre" makes no difference to the experience, as you will spend your evening in a guest house. The family are communicative on WhatsApp and help you with hiking guides and transport. I arrived by bus and they were waiting by the road to guide me to the property (I do not think I would have found it on my own in the dark as it's set away from the road). Amazing stay, thank you so much for the experience!

We stayed at Royal Mountain Edge from September 13th to 14th, booking a double room. Our experience was truly remarkable. During our short stay, we joined the Kotagaga Waterfall hike, took part in the Garden-to-Kitchen experience, relaxed by the beautiful infinity pool, enjoyed a cozy BBQ night, and ended with a delicious traditional Sri Lankan breakfast. The accommodation is comfortable, though quite basic — but honestly, that’s all you need to connect with the beauty of nature. All essential facilities are available: Wi-Fi, electricity, and hot water. The simplicity of the stay only makes the surrounding mountains feel even more special. If you’re looking for a place where you can slow down, breathe fresh air, and be close to nature, this is the perfect escape. Footnote: Remember to bring cash for your extra expenses.

I was hesitant when I booked this place because of the price, but it was definitely worth it. One of the best places I stayed during my 3 weeks in Sri Lanka. The local guides were great to hike with. The beds were extremely comfortable and waking up to the view outside the tent every morning was incredible. Everything was very clean and the food was good. Spacious and clean bathroom, much better than what I was expecting. I also felt very safe here as a female solo traveler.

The beds were nice, they had mosquito nets but when I was there I didn't have one mosquito bite. The bug free dining area. Bird watching from the deck. The phone service, for being where you are was fairly good. We went for a hike to the waterfalls, and it was epic!

This was a lovely family that went above and beyond to give a wonderful experience. The location is a little remote which was perfect for my TikTok adventure needs

I had the PREVILAGE to stay at Golf Resort Par 3, in the 3rd week of January 2026. If I am compelled to state briefly- then I would write that "staying at Golf Resort Par 3, can be termed as the next best thing to being in heaven." Everything about the place was exceptional. Clean, stylish, spacious comfortable room , the view off the room and the place was heavenly; the service beyond excellence with attentive and efficient staff and the meals offered were fresh and exotic. Unfortunately I had to leave the place to attend to certain other work, an act my wife and I regret very much . This is money's worth, and I would recommend the location to any traveler who wish to visit Digana, ( off Kandy) Sri Lanka. And if you are a golfer, you consider yourself the luckiest amongst all. The place offered us one of the best cups of tea we have ever had in our entire life !!! We had the opportunity to meet the Owner, and the young ,energetic and their very friendly Manager, Mr Ravan and the support staff as well. This place is must be the next best place to heaven. Its fully worth. Consider yourself being delt with a "Royal Flush" hand of cards... The place is worth for the money. There is no doubt of we re-visiting this place again. :) ps- When you patronize this place , remember to keep an extra day in your hand , to extend your stay.... as I can guarantee, you would feel sad, when you leave this place. Don't fail to communicate with their Manager Mr Ravana when you visit this location. He is in a different league on customer treatment and hospitality ... I have been to many places in the world, but yet to meet someone as this young chap.

The location is fantastic, offering amazing views. The manageress Thiloka and staff are extremely helpful, professional, and service-oriented, always making the place feel warm and welcoming. The food was also quite delicious and well presented.

Everything was amazing: the food, the amazing service with Jason in charge (best so far in Sri Lanka) and the great guide Charaka who accompanied us to a small trek in the jungle with my 3 years old son. The bungalows are clean, the beds are comfy and there is everything you need - if they don’t have already in the room, you ask and they find a solution! The views are incredible! We spent Christmas there, they went all the way into creating a Christmas tree with lights on the heliport so we could have dinner around it - a special barbecue. The food is also a fair price for the quality you get.
