It was off the beaten path. Not many tourists around so get a unique feeling. The host offered to take me to a nearby waterfall so I got a chance to speak and get to know him. I had dinner in the family home.

This was the best hospitality we received in Sri Lanka. It is a lovely family business, located in nature and very close to the famous Budurugawala rock carvings. Shalika and his family are perfect hosts. The cabin is great and the environment is very peaceful. The beds were really comfortable and super clean. The food they served is amazing and they the ingredients are harvested by the hosts. It was an amazing experience. They also provide transportation service. Highly recommended!

We had an excellent stay at this lovely homestay. The owners were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. The food was outstanding — we enjoyed both breakfast and dinner, and they were happy to prepare anything we requested.
