This property has been completely renovated. We stayed here in the past, and you can see what a face lift the place has gotten. The new manager, Mr. Stephane, is the man for the job. My wife was sick and he offered to call a doctor and instructed his staff to take good care of us. He runs almost everywhere and you can see how energetic he is and the great job he’s doing to bring this property up to the standards of this hotel to where it ought to be. We were on our way to Merzouga. We plan on going back and staying a bit longer in Ouarzazate in this property.

Plenty to see in Ouarzazate and the surrounding areas. Unfortunately all the restaurants and shops were shut when we stayed there, as they were celebrating Eid Al-Abha. Ait Ben Haddou is well worth a visit.

At first, I was a bit concerned about this area, as there isn’t much information about it and it doesn’t seem to be a popular destination. However, I would definitely recommend it - it positively surprised us, and there’s plenty to do for at least three nights with Ouarzazate as a great base.

They called it "the door to Sahara" and we agree.

They called it "the door to Sahara" and we agree. the old town has a wonderful magical touch to it. The new town is trying to compete. We found everything clean and welcoming. The solar power station is amazing

The unique landscape has served as the setting for numerous films, including Lawrence of Arabia, The Mummy, Black Hawk Down, Babel, and Gladiator. It is home to the headquarters of the Atlas Corporation, the world's largest film studio, and also houses a film museum that can be visited.

With Studios to visit one day and Ait Benhaddou the next.

With Studios to visit one day and Ait Benhaddou the next. While each place takes half day each to visit take two days and enjoy the relaxation around the hotel. Staying at The Atlas Studio Hotel your next door to the studios. But a drive for anywhere else

We were disappointed in Ouarzazate.

We were disappointed in Ouarzazate. It is cosmopolitan city but the area around was quite dismal. Unfortunately like so many places in Morocco, a country we love, it is drowning in rubbish. The highlight was visiting Ait Ben Haddou.

Aziz is a very kind, helpful and friendly person. We came on the last day of Ramadan and Eid. He shared his food with us, helped us get around. - clean room (double) and toilet and very quiet, so you will have good sleep at night. - AMAZING breakfast made by Aziz! King of Morocco! Coffee - good. Bread - good. Tea - good. Breakfast on the roof... Just perfect! Thank you Aziz! - good internet. - great people stopping by so, you are enjoying the stay. What more to say? The Riad is absolutely beautiful, impeccably clean, and the view from the rooftop is amazing. The dinner and breakfast were delicious, especially loved the starter briwat. The staff were incredibly kind, softspoken, and helpful. They made sure to give us a whole list of suggestions of what to do and places to visit upon arrival and when we left. The room was gorgeous with a view on the all-surrounding palm fields, the bed comfy and shower had great water pressure. Absolutely recommend for a stay in Ouarzazate.

Incredibly nice and kind host, spoke perfect English and gave us directions for things to see in the area and where to eat. Breakfast was fantastic and plentiful, one of the best we had in Morocco. Very nice riad in the Medina of Ouarzazate, a short walking distance from the Supratour bus and the bus and grand taxi stations. Would definitely go back!

When I go to Ouarzazate I always stay at Riad Amlal, the staff is amazing, the location is perfect as it's close to the main square and to the bus station. The hotel is beautiful, new and you can see that they take good care of it as it's super clean too. Breakfast delicious
