Hill Escape was exactly that, a peaceful escape. It's a beautiful cabin with all the necessary amenities for a weekend stay (or longer - it even has a washer). The beds are comfortable, living room cozy, kitchen well stocked for light cooking, and everything was spotless. Lazar is a great host. He's very friendly and communicative. He met me at checkin, gave me suggestions for a nice hike up the hill behind the property, and offered valuable advice for other hikes I was planning. The village is quiet and the house is well-insulated from noise. I'm sensitive to noise and chose this place specifically to have peace and quiet and I was satisfied. There were a couple of projects happening in the neighborhood so there were a few *very brief* periods of construction noise, but I couldn't hear it with the windows closed (except when I sat on the couch right by the window, and even then it was very faint). And like I said, those periods were few and very brief. This is a beautiful place to go for a relaxing, quiet, weekend. I really enjoyed my time at Hill Escape. It's a wonderfully peaceful place and I look forward to my next visit!

Absolutely great! The place of peace, surrounded by beautiful landsapes. I recommend that you stay at least 3 nights and that you don't plan expeditions here and there: just enjoy the place! The ideal respite grom a busy life or from a trip with many activities!

The host has a huge heart! He welcomed us warmly and treated us with good beer, juices, and chocolates for the kids, along with an abundance of refreshments. Throughout our stay, he cared for us as if we were family, even bringing us fresh bread for breakfast and much more! Every detail in the house is thoughtfully designed — from ultra-soft toilet paper, luxurious bedding, and perfectly chosen equipment, to Swiss-quality pots, pans, and knives. The house is also well equipped with various appliances and machines. The coffee machines are excellent, and so is the coffee. Although there is no supermarket in the immediate area (the nearest is about a 25–30 minute drive away), there was plenty of food available to improvise a meal on the evening of our arrival. The place is spacious, comfortable, feels like home, and is set in a peaceful, pastoral setting. The host even introduced our kids to the neighbors, and they had a wonderful time playing together! He is extremely communicative and makes great use of technology, making everything smooth and easy. Very recommended
