Just amazing is the best description. On top of mountains intimate quiet and charming. Host was lovely and units are super comfortable and he left shower gels, coffee and various supplies we didn’t expect but were wonderful to have after a long car ride. View from the place is stunning and ids a great starting point to see the monasteries. We bought some wonderful local honey and wine from the host as well. Highly recommended.

The accommodation is outstanding, set in a stunning natural environment with very kind hosts. They also own the restaurant Markovi Konaci, located just across from the accommodation. The food there is superb and definitely worth trying. I highly recommend the local cheese platter, which comes with sour cream, prosciutto, and olives. For the main course, don’t miss the homemade sausages and roast lamb or beef—these are truly must-try dishes. The beef stew is also a great choice to start your day. If you’re visiting the Ostrog Monastery, a stop at Markovi Konaci is a must. Enjoy the beautiful surroundings and indulge in the delicious food.

We liked everything at this property: location in wild nature, quite place, birds song, friendship of the owner.
