We absolutely loved our stay at Moonlight House. The location is incredible. The staff is friendly and took care of us from the moment e arrived. We had both breakfast and dinner at the restaurant and could not have enjoyed it more. The food was so fresh and delicious - might be the best meals we had in Montenegro. Would highly recommend!

Great and friendly hosts! The food was excellent, and the host and his family were incredibly welcoming. In the evening, the host lit a fire, and it truly felt like a real camping experience. We felt completely at home. The accommodation was new and very clean. A big plus was having power sockets throughout the space, which made it easy to charge our phones and gear.

This place has one of the best views of the Vusanje Valley. It is very quiet, very peaceful. You can take easy walks around the valley.. Everyone speaks English, very nice people. Thank you and hope to see you again

We had a fantastic stay at Riverside Guesthouse. The hospitality was warm and the staff very kind and welcoming. The room was clean, comfortable, and offered beautiful mountain views. The homemade food was delicious, and the sauna was perfect for relaxing after a day of hiking in the mountains. The location is ideal for exploring Prokletije and the Peaks of the Balkans trail. We will definitely come back again.

This property is new to Booking but don't let that scare you, it's an amazing option for lodging in Vusanje. The owner/host is super friendly and you can tell he's dedicated to making his property one of the best in the area. He built 5-6 brand new cabins on his property, each is well constructed and has everything you'd need for your stay. He even built a covered sitting area with picnic tables, which was a really nice tough. He also has a mini bar in the cabins, which makes it easy to get a beer after a long hike on the POB. And the mini bar items are super affordable.

Vusanje is one of the most beautiful places I have ever visited. The breathtaking mountains, crystal-clear rivers, and peaceful atmosphere make it the perfect destination to relax and enjoy nature. The local people are incredibly friendly and welcoming, and I can’t wait to come back. I highly recommend visiting Vusanje and staying at Highland Guest House for an unforgettable experience.

Vusanje is beautifully located in the border between Albania...

Vusanje is beautifully located in the border between Albania and Monte Negro, serving as a gateway to the Alps, with various trails suitable for long, medium, or short hikes of different difficulty levels. It is also close to the towns of Plav and Gusinje, where visitors can enjoy rich natural landscapes and attractions such as the stunning Lake Hrid.

We went there to hike Prokletije mountains.

We went there to hike Prokletije mountains. Usually we use small tents for camping so this was a huge step up in comfort. Prokletije offer so many trails and 5 days was just to get the taste. The area is going through this tourist transformation phase and will be more and more crowded with time, but you still can get authentic people, spontaneity and sincerity in abundance. In my book: in the league of Alps for the fraction of the price with a lot of extras.

I had a wonderful time in Vusanje!

I had a wonderful time in Vusanje! The village is surrounded by stunning mountains and nature everywhere you look. The people were so friendly and welcoming. The food was amazing—fresh, homemade, and full of flavor. I can’t wait to visit again!

We had a wonderful stay, the family who run Riverside were so kind & helpful. The cabin/bungalow was very clean, small yet well designed & laid out. Perfect - excellent value for money. Delicious home cooked food including home grown veg, & fresh trout straight from the pond. I want to return !
