A very nice place in a great location, close to the city center. The staff were friendly and helpful, the shower had reliable hot water, and the room had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The Wi-Fi worked well throughout my visit, and I found the overall value for money to be excellent. Considering the price and convenient location, I honestly don’t understand some of the negative reviews. If you’re looking for a clean, affordable place with friendly staff and good basic amenities, this is a solid choice.

I liked everything about the hotel

I loved the architecture, the garden, and the boutique-like service. The staff was super friendly. We also appreciated the open access to the installations of the Radisson Blu, a few meters away only.

Hôtel de l’Avenue is situated in the city center. Very convenient as it’s close by shops, restaurants and easily accessible. With the ongoing water and electricity shortage in Tana, this hotel is the best as these two essentials of life were not lacking. Even during a general water restriction, they still provided water to every room. Well done!

My stay at this hotel coincided with the protests in October. Because of the police curfew, my flight was delayed from landing in the evening on a Saturday to Sunday morning. I had originally planned to stay for 2 nights, but the staff allowed me to pay for only 1 night due to the flight issues. There's a restaurant in the hotel that was excellent. The room was clean and staff spoke English. The front desk can exchange money if you let them know ahead of time. There's also an ATM about a block away.

Room and bathroom was very spacious, clean. Very comfortable bed, A/C worked well. Dinner at Le Goa was exceptional and very good value. Spa area (sauna, steam, pool, lounge and gym) is very nice and everything working well and the massage i had was also very good and professional. Location is great as well, walking distance to markets and downtown. Above all, all the staff are very professional, polite, friendly and super helpful. When coming to Antananarivo, I will be returning to Le Centell without hesitation.

Excellent breakfast- staff very focus on customer satisfaction- They pay to details and make sure I did not forget a thing in room. Front office staffs went over the bills to make sure everything is taken care of. Will definitely recommend the hotel. Thank you all.

Everyone of the staff was super friendly and helpful. The location is good: close to the center and thus pretty much everything. The kitchen was well equipped (well one sauce pan was amiss but we managed without).

Central location, walking distance from the finest restaurants and main attractions. Spotless room, very comfortable. Great staff and service.
