As American. I would say that this was the best FREE breakfast I ever had for years in restaurants and hotels! YUMMI! homemade with great varieties: French crepe, home baked cake, American breakfast. The lunch is also tasty. I love the nature around: I could find 10 species of birds just sitting outside in the balcony in the morning. There is a very beautiful pond with willow trees in the front. You can read on the large balcony and enjoy your morning. You can avoid traffic by leaving early. The air is pure outside the city center. The rooms are decorated with topnotch design. You can see the lake from the room as well as the terrace. The nostalgic hotel offers good service on everything. Wifi is fast and stable. Staff are friendly and super helpful. It only takes them one minute to switch on the generator after the power cut. The restaurant attracts not only guests like me but also guests from outside. Their grilled zebu is really one-of-the-kind. I hope i can come back for the grilled zebu again. Don’t miss the sunset on the terrace. The upper town looks like a painting with the sunshine.

My stay at this hotel coincided with the protests in October. Because of the police curfew, my flight was delayed from landing in the evening on a Saturday to Sunday morning. I had originally planned to stay for 2 nights, but the staff allowed me to pay for only 1 night due to the flight issues. There's a restaurant in the hotel that was excellent. The room was clean and staff spoke English. The front desk can exchange money if you let them know ahead of time. There's also an ATM about a block away.
