South AfricaWe travelled with our kids, age 11 and 9. The staff were very accommodating, kind and professional. The swimming pool was a game-changer as we relaxed and swam on the days that the kids didnt want to go on an outing.
The chef prepared delicious meals and accommodated the kids requests as well.
When going on outings we had, Romeric, one of the staff with us. He made sure everything went smoothly👍🏻
Wrisla, the lodge manager, was such a big help and assisted us in arriving a day ealier due to previous accommodation not being up to standard. What a pleasure it was to arrive at Veronika!
The lovely Lori greeted us with the biggest smile every day in the restaurant area.

GermanyBeautiful very new, modern and nice looking Bungalows with astonishing view from our Terrasse (had a bungalow on the top). Very good restaurant with best breakfast we had in our trip! Excellent food and reasonable prices. Warmly and in every situation helpful staff, especially to mention Fahouzia and Jaque!!!
Loved to use the SUP and Kayak, snorkeling in front with turtles.
Excellent price for value! Highly recommend!

United StatesOur family of five stayed with Johan and Elodie for seven nights in March. The snorkeling just off the beack is good. It varies with tide and turbdity so aim for low tide and really sunny weather and then everything turns on. We loved the experience and spent our days snorkeling and eating delicious seafood. We took four excursion boat trips: 1.) Nosy Tanikely National Park-great visibility and beautiful corals; 2.) Makako Lemur sanctuary on Nosy Komba in Ampangorinana and nearby tiny island of Nosy Ambariobe for snorkeling; 3.) Nosy sakatia for swimming with really large green sea turtles; and 4.) across from Nosy Komba to hidden beach for more snorkeling on Madagascar main island directly across from Remo e Bernice. All the trips were awesome but the swimming with the really big green sea turtles in Sakatia was a highlight. The caring attention to our needs from Johan and Elodie was also a highlight. We hiked up the Nosy Komba mountain half way but it rained super hard so we just enjoyed the verdant gardens in the forest of spices and chameleons. It was all amazing.

CanadaThe visiting lemurs were obviously a highlight of the location. They'd jump through the trees outside my window and visit the patio area often.
For the most part, I was pretty comfortable. It's a simple accommodation, but well maintained and clean. It's surrounded by nature. The only noisy neighbors are lemurs.
Power was dependable - just a few short outages. The solar seems to be in good working order and internet was good except during storms (to be expected).
The mosquito net on the bed was excellent (which turned out to be important). The fan over the bed kept me fairly cool, even inside my net.
I think it's better value than many of the accommodations on Nosy Be.
The beach is nice. I found a few spots to the south to snorkel from the beach (not spectacular, but lots of turtles).
At night, there were fireflies about. :D

Villa C'est la Vie is simply exceptional. Eco-conscious layout and design of the property, with beautifully landscaped gardens blending seamlessly with the natural environment. Breathtaking panoramic sea views and peaceful atmosphere.
The owner is incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive to every detail. His local knowledge, thoughtful advice, and assistance in arranging boat trips made the stay even more memorable. The staff are equally friendly, professional, and always willing to help.
The fresh seafood was outstanding, the accommodation spacious and comfortable, and the nearby beaches are absolutely stunning. Every aspect of my stay exceeded any expectations. Villa C'est la Vie offers an unforgettable experience, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a truly special getaway. Cannot wait to return.

My husband and I had an amazing time at Remo e Berenice.
My husband and I had an amazing time at Remo e Berenice. The place is like a piece of paradise, right on the ocean, with a beautiful ambience. There’s great snorkeling just steps from the shore. The staff were outstanding – friendly, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. Our bungalow was spotless and equipped with everything we needed. The food was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect stay!
