Everything in the hotel was fantastic, and personnel was great…However we had one not good experience, my husband got an allergic reaction during the breakfast, at the moment we asked for medication, they couldn’t offer an emergency kit neither offered to call medical service. We had to search it by ourselves even though every hotel is required to have a basic energency kit…

Everything was great: service, facilities, the fact they allowed us to check in a bit earlier was a plus! But, what stands out: the view from the balcony room is gorgeous! I wasn’t sure which room to book because in the pictures there were some post cables blocking the view, but since this property is kind of on a slight little hill you can only see the light poles from the terrace room which is on the lower floor.

This property far exceeded my expectations. Perched on a winding hill in the old town, Villa Mesokastro has the most amazing view of Lake Ohrid. You would be pressed to find a restaurant or cafe that has such an incredible view as this villa! The owner of the villa is helpful and responsive. The location is great and walking distance from everything in the old town and city center. The facilities are clean. I would happily come and stay in this villa again! Make sure to book a room with a lake view.

The staff is very friendly and welcoming, it's family owned so you can feel the family approach. The room was clean and even though they seem a bit old they are still in very good shape. The view was also great from the room. The parking is pretty close to the hotel and safe.
