Location location location! As the name suggested, the premise is located on roughly 20 meters from the sea with the best sea view we ever stayed at. The hostess is very responsive, the place is sparkling clean. The minute we saw the place, we booked it for a second night, and if we could, we would have stayed there for a whole week.

Henties was always a fishing destination.

Henties was always a fishing destination. The fishing is getting worse every year, and with the entire town infrastructure based on this fishing tourism industry, the powers that be need to take notice. You will soon loose this gem if you don't act now.

Best seafood in Namibia you will get at Fishy Corner- fresh and masterchef quality The Spar Henties is a shopping experience on its own. You will go in for 5 items and comes out with a trolly full of goodies. The weather, the people, the houses with their own unique character makes Henties Bay a must visit place.

Fishy Corner must be visited. Fantastic food and great atmosphere. Very pleasant and kind doctor who went out of her way to help m,y cousin with a cat bite Felt safe. Good for access to Swakops, Cape Cross and other places

What a charming seaside town! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with breathtaking coastal views, fresh sea air, and a welcoming atmosphere. The town strikes a perfect balance between relaxation and activity — whether you're looking to unwind on the beach, explore local shops, there’s something for everyone. The locals were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. We especially loved the scenic coastal walks and quiet moments watching the sunset over the ocean — truly magical. The town has a lovely, unhurried vibe that’s perfect for recharging. We left feeling refreshed and already planning our return. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful yet enriching seaside getaway!

Hentiesbaai is for hard core outdoors people and fisherman.

Hentiesbaai is for hard core outdoors people and fisherman. It is not for the faint hearted or average type of person on holiday. Maybe it could grow on someone who really needed to really get away from civilisation. There are a few shops and a small medical centre. The SPAR was quite good for basic groceries. There is a super hard core links / desert golf course and putt putt.

Love the carefree feeling even if you are not a fisherman.

Love the carefree feeling even if you are not a fisherman. Walking long stretches of beach every day is food for the soul. nothing like allowing the misty Seabreeze to whisk away any negativity. Sunsets are just magnificent when the mist rolls away and the sound of the waves is profoundly loud which allows you to hear yourself - within yourself.
