Beautiful location,easy reachable

We loved the beauty of the surrounding nature and the farm feel. The hosts were incredible and the accommodations were fantastic. If you book a mobile home spot, it is a tent space. They do have a few rooms available sometimes. That is where we stayed.

We had such a memorable experience staying with Eddy and his family. The place is lovely, on a beautiful piece of land, and has all you need. But… it’s the people that really sets this place apart. The first night we arrived, we chatted for hours just getting to know one another and wow… they are truly amazing humans! They shared their hope and vision for this place was “to come as a guest and leave as a friend” a motto that is so evident in how they run the place. We had only planned to stay for one night and continue on our way the next day. However, after some unexpected car trouble, they graciously let us stay again the following night. After hearing of our troubles, Eddy immediately took the tire off of his own truck so we could have a spare while we were getting our car fixed. Namibia offers a ton of amazing things to a tourist, but meeting Eddy and his family was definitely the highlight of our trip here. We’ve never been greeted by such kindness and hospitality. We are so grateful to have met everyone. If you have the opportunity to stay here, you won’t regret it. I guarantee it will be one of the most memorable parts of your trip!

We liked everything! The owners Carina and Danie could not have been more gracious, kind, accommodating, or thoughtful. The meals were huge and delicious. The modern apartment was very well-equipped, clean, comfortable, and full of thoughtful touches. It is an excellent value. Wonderful hosts, a fantastic accommodation, on a beautiful working farm. It was our top stay in a month of traveling around Namibia, and we stayed in a wide variety of accommodations.

The family who run this place are adorable & you feel like family by the time you leave! It is a rest stop cafe on the C39 road to Khorixas with 2 units behind the cafe. They are equipped with twin beds, AC, a fridge & kettle plus an en-suite shower room. All clean & comfortable. Convenient for visiting the Petrified Forest but an hour from Twyfelfontein. We took our own breakfast stuff but Letty cooked a simple supper for us. We did a walk up to the hills behind behind their farm with Eddy & the Grandchildren which was incredible & the views & sunset amazing. If you are looking for a simple affordable place to stay in the area this is perfect & Letty, Eddy, Sanchez & Tia are so warm, friendly & accommodating. We will never forget them & hope to return.

Dear Renir, Sarel, Patras, Patrick, Regina, George.... Thank you so much for everything. This was truly the best place I’ve ever stayed. Of course, it’s not a luxury lodge — it’s located in the middle of nowhere. But that’s exactly what makes it so special. I was deeply moved by how kind and warm everyone was. I originally planned to stay just one night, but I ended up extending my stay. Yes, you can charge your devices and there is Wi-Fi, but since it runs on a battery system, it’s better not to rely on it too much. Instead, I highly recommend putting your phone away and simply enjoying the changing nature around you. Time passes so quickly when you do. You can hike the mountains to watch both sunrise and sunset. Some areas are easy to explore on your own, and for others, Renir kindly guides you. It’s a place where you can truly feel the vastness of nature and the passage of time. The water is safe to drink, so there’s no need to bring your own. If you ever need anything, they will do their absolute best to help you. And Patras, the dog, is incredibly sweet — he will probably walk you back to your tent and watch over you. I couldn’t believe that such warm-hearted people exist in a place like this. This experience reminded me how grateful I am to be a traveler. Please don’t miss their meals — they are amazing.
