Everything was great. The views are amazing. Great proximity to Lofoten Links golf course and Hov Guard horseback riding. The property was very comfortable to stay in.

It was great, the place was big and clean, there was everything one might need for a comfortable stay. It is easy to find with the GPS and it's quite close to E10. The area is quiet and nice and when the weather allows it, you can clearly see the northern lights right outside. The check-in and check-out process was simple and fast. Note that the closest supermarkets are around 30 minutes by car, so it's a good idea to plan accordingly. Also note that the shower and toilet are in separate rooms - some might not like it but it wasn't a problem for us. Overall, a great stay!

Just perfect- location is amazing- quiet serene beautiful secluded but still not much off E10 and so much to do around; house gorgeous and very comfortable and functional; parking convenient; bed super comfy; very cool atmosphere inside the accommodation and everything one might need. The owner - Olga is amazing and very prompt and attentive. Unfortunately we had not seen northern lights and had a quit a bad luck with wether being their 5 night is horrible storm ruining over the northern coast and could not do much with bridges and activities closures but what a great place to return to every night!!!! We loved the accommodation; would love to return and would recommend to others w/o any hesitation. We shall return.

Checking in was easy—the house was easy to find and collecting the keys was simple. Inside, the space was very warm and clean. The kitchen is fully equipped and having a dishwasher was a huge plus, as was the washing machine for our clothes. Very convenient and comfortable! Incredibly close to the beaches and easy to get to. It’s also a fantastic spot for aurora hunting. This is a family home, a shared living space, which offers a communal atmosphere. While it may not provide total privacy, you may consider part of the experience.

Absolutely Amazing Stay – Even Better Than Expected! The villa is very new and incredibly well-maintained. The view is absolutely stunning – I’m someone who gets really anxious about whether the view will match the photos, but this one exceeded all my expectations! You can see from the photos I attached – it’s truly beautiful. The sofa was super cozy, everything in the house felt warm and fresh, and the jacuzzi worked perfectly. There’s also a washer and dryer inside the house, which was super convenient. The kitchen is fully equipped with high-quality appliances, and you can control the temperature in each room to your liking. There’s even a wine fridge! Everyone in our group kept saying they wished we could stay another night and skip the next stop on our trip. If you’re reading this and feeling unsure because there aren’t many reviews yet – I was in the same boat. But let me tell you, this place is so worth it. Highly recommended!

Gimsøy is absolutely beautiful!

Gimsøy is absolutely beautiful! We also went for a nice lunch at the charming restaurant at Hov Gård where there was an amazing beach and a nice hike (Hoven). Right next to Hov Gård is also the world-famous golf course called Lofoten Links, which one definitely has to check out if you are a golfer! There is a very convenient self-service grocery store, Gimsøy Landhandel, (open 24 hours a day), only 4 minutes away by car and which also has a nice little cafe in the daytime. We felt like we stayed in the centre of Lofoten at Gimsøy, safe to say the location is perfect for going out on excursions in all directions. This is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful places you can find in Lofoten, so we hope to be back! Strongly recommended!
