For such low price in quite remote location I wasn't expecting much, but our expectations were way exceeded! This is so nice place to stay: - very clean - warm and welcoming host - a lot of equipment to prep the food - rooms are nice, spacious and clean - Grocery store is nearby - We got tasty cake in the morning! I highly recommend this place!

The bed was surprisingly comfortable. Parking was right up by the entrance. The bathroom floor was heated. Ample closet space was available. A nice touch was a Bible in the drawer written in Norwegian AND English. The worker in the morning went out of her way to make us a Norwegian waffle. She simply surprised us with it.

I love how quiet and peaceful the Basecamp and location were. Very clean. Great sauna and well equipped kitchen. Best of all was the attention and hospitality of Øyvind.

This hotel was an unexpected delight. We were upgraded to a larger room, which was super nice, and which, while not having a view to the glaciers, did allow the late afternoon sun to shine in. We made use of the great basement gym, which was full of equipment and free weights (but only one treadmill), and we were also able to use the on-site laundry for some much needed washing. The wifi was quick, the bed was super comfy, and the bathroom relatively spacious. We would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to stay in this stunning area.
