Probably the best place to stay in Muktinath / Jomsom area. The staff was very friendly, helpful and attentive. Communication was responsive and clear. They went out of their way to try and make our stay memorable. There was a variety of tasty food options. The room was clean, and the view was scenic, with both Dhaulagiri and Nilgiri mountains visible. And most importantly, we felt like home here.

The clean shower hot stable shower and the electrical warming bed were fantastic after 10 days of Trekking in the mountain. The Breakfast set at Bob Market was also perfect and they helped us find a cheap shared jeep to go to PoKhara

The owners family are wonderful. Tsewang Gyurme Gurung is the owner and a 10th generation Tibetan medical practitioner. He speaks very good English and you couldn’t find a more knowledgeable and friendly host. His mother is very kind and warm hearted as are the staff. The hotel used to be a family home but has been converted into a hotel with 6 spacious, clean and comfortable rooms with private bathrooms. Hot water is available on sunny days as water is heated by solar power. The food is good. Location is perfect, almost directly opposite airport but quiet as there are only a few small aircraft flying in the morning and Jomsom is a small attractive town with all essential facilities. The hotel is very tastefully and respectfully decorated in Tibetan style and despite the affordable price is one of the best hotels in town. Personally I would rather stay here than anywhere else because it has real character and charm, the kind you never forget and cannot buy. I will really miss this place.

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The atmosphere was peaceful, and the staff were incredibly accommodating, friendly, and hospitable. A special thank you to the team for preparing delicious vegan meals according to our request. Your attention to detail made our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

What Guests Said About Muktināth:

Muktinath is the highest Lord Vishnu Temple in the world.

Muktinath is the highest Lord Vishnu Temple in the world. It is a sacred and beautiful temple surrounded by the Himalayas. Very unique temple and darshan with the dieties was humbling. People there are helpful, kind and friendly to newcomers. The village of Muktinath is filled with hotels and small stores. Go at least once in your life to this sacred abode. The pilgrimage of getting there from Pokhara is both treacherous and rewarding with stunning views of the Himalayas.

Muktinath is a last area of lower mustang.

Muktinath is a last area of lower mustang. So if u planned to go there don't stay at night and don't go alone. Reserve a car and go there with a group at the morning and then back in your hotel at the afternoon. If u wants to stay 1 night then stay at jomsom not in muktinath.

The village was very small and all other travellers were there for the temple which meant a lot to the visitors and they made us very welcome. Lots of good walking to be had but not a lot open in the village as it was out of season . Must mention Bob Marley bar and restaurant- food was excellent

Muktinath is a very spiritual place, with the energy really high. The people are very friendly. Slow walk up the stairs to the main temple area as air is thinner but the views and the 108 Dhara bathing was incredible.
