The room was simple but with a beautiful view. The room was very reasonably priced and near the bus stop for Gorkha. Food at the restaurant downstairs is delicious and fairly priced. The woman who works at the front desk was so sweet and helpful, answering any questions I had about the area. Easy to get to Gorkha museum and the palace hike. I can’t recommend this place enough - my experience was wonderful.

Location, quiet AC, great view from the balcony, clean, most of staff friendly, good breakfast and dinners, and arranged transportation for us. We would stay there again even though it is expensive for the area.

It was close to the bus station! The staff were friendly but when there wasn't any hot water and we rang to fix it, we had to ring again and there still wasn't a solution. It also just felt like a bit of a weird place!

Shasi is a lovely host - she always anticipated my needs and made my stay so comfortable. I booked for 2 nights and stayed for 4. The hotel reception / lounge / dining room has 270° views, and also has amazing views from the rooftop - where I spent a few evenings with a beer watching the sunset. The hotel is very conveniently located- just a 5-min easy stroll through a pedestrian path to the bazar, a 4-min walk to the football field for the Himalayan mountain views; it is along the trail to the monastery, and the Siddha Cave, as well as to Ramkot (highly recommended). Shasi was super helpful in planning and booking my onward journey to the Bardia National Park, packing me a meal for the 18-hr journey, ensuring that the taxi driver got me onto the right bus at a highway intersection - there were dozens of buses passing through every hour, and there was no way I would have got on the right bus otherwise as there was no English signage and it was not a scheduled stop for the bus- a massive thank you, Shasi!!
