The hotel, staff, location and restaurant were all amazing! The hotel exceeded our expectations! The staff were more than accommodating. We hosted an 18 person lunch and the food and staff could not have been any better. We would highly recommend this hotel and hope so be back.

This was a perfect location for all the day trips we did. The property is beautiful with all of the Almond, Cherry and Olive trees. Our apartment felt like you were staying in a room in a castle, all the walls are stone. Technically this isnt a 2 bedroom, its a 1 bedroom with a very large loft, which is open to the kitchen dining area. Fortunately it worked for our group. On our arrival, the owners provided a bottle of wine, cheese, crackers plus items for breakfast that included, ham cheese, milk, juice, jams, coffee and a loaf of fresh bread delivered every morning.

Everything! We felt a bit like we were in a fairy tale since the room cleverly incorporates the surrounding rock and wood structures on the inside. Very pretty, clean and unique. The added touch of a table full of food and drink on our arrival were unexpected but so nice to walk into.

Perfect Breakfast with fresh bread in a cloth bag on the door and fresh milk in a glass bottle in the fridge. Fresh figs and a bottle of good wine for the evening. Really good beds with high quality bedding. Very beautiful wooden floor and windows in a very beautiful blue. Very quiet residential area. Very nice an functional bathroom. Very attractive furniture. Free parking. The best apartment in three-week trip!!!

Celorico da Beira is a beautiful, quiet village with many hiking trails. The area is extremely safe as is most all of Portugal and the locals are very friendly to those visiting. Highly recommend this area if you like hiking, want to be away from the stress and busyness of life, and just want to get away for some peace and quiet with beautiful scenery around you.

Very quiet little city with traditional stone buildings.

Very quiet little city with traditional stone buildings. Easy to reach castle with great views and loved the "Solar do Queijo da Serra da Estrela" with the history of this traditional cheese. Right next to this place there is a church worth visiting, amazing ceiling full of paintings.

Very small town, hardly any restaurants at all (we searched the whole town and found 1 or 2…), However beautiful if you stay in this kind of apartement with own possibilites to Cook your own food. Maximum travel length is recommended to 2 days.
