Excellent oasis in the middle of the Dao region of Portugal. The room was clean and comfortable with a table outside for outside dinning. The grounds were spectacular and a great place to enjoy sunset and the stars. Perfect location to explore the many megalithic sites in the area.

We went to meet people who live there and only attended a...

We went to meet people who live there and only attended a wedding one day, drove to centre to eat on another day, didn’t walk around the hotel area so can’t say much to that. Have to say that the service at restaurante Os Galitos is awful, my family went there two days in a row as couldn’t find anything else open, the second day ordered salted cod but it was inedible, far too salty. A lady on the next table couldn’t eat her food as her salmon was too salty, when we said we couldn't eat it they called the manager who immediately threatened to call the police and kept telling my mother to shut her mouth. No one said we wouldn’t pay, just that we couldn’t eat it and wanted something else as we were hungry! Avoid this place!

Ideal and high-quality condition of the room 🤩 The room is of a high level. It was wonderful😻. A large green area with a river and a small waterfall; there is plenty to walk around the area. The sound of a waterfall delighted us at breakfast every day. Comfortable summer terrace and barbecue area. Friendly, attentive, caring hotel owner 🤗 Does everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

The hotel was nicer than I expected, really nice spacious, clean rooms. Bed was very comfortable. We asked if they had an iron we could use as we were attending a wedding and they got us a couple straight away, staff was always willing to help. Lovely big swimming pool.

Fantastic breakfast! Self made jams and cake. Nice bread. Cheese from the region. Easy to park. We arrived almost at midnight, but it was no problem at all. Host was very friendly and helpful. Place close to Mangualde, between Viseu and Serra da Estrela.

The owner and the staff were fantastic, great service from the moment we arrived. The room with on suite was great. Evening meal was ok. Secure parking for the motorcycle was excellent. If touring in the area can definitely recommend this hotel.
