We stayed at the resort to celebrate our daughter’s 1st birthday at their restaurant (Awtar Restaurant). Everything went well. We had a great time. Special thanks to the Restaurant Supervisor, Sir Aldin, who assisted us all throughout. He was very hands-on and made sure that everything was going well. Kudos also to the staff who are all very accommodating and made our party smooth while also taking care of our needs and requests. The food was also superb, thanks to Chef Reda. We really enjoyed it. Lastly, after the tiring party, we got to rest and sleep comfortably in our villa. It was so huge and worth it.

We enjoyed the pool and the beach, fun areas for family. We were surprised to be given a free room upgrade at the front desk, we really appreciate the receptionist who did this for us. Overall, the staffs were great but Ms. Monika of Sushisamba and Ms. Jonalyn of By Water were exceptional; they were very accomodating and pleasant. The food at Sushisamba were tasteful and a good value for money. The room that’s been assigned to us had a balcony and a nice view; was clean and had a beautiful interior. I personally loved the little details and bits of art that gave so much character to the room. They also have hardbound books that you can read if you stay there for a long time; the stories were classic and good to read too.

I always come to this Resort it has a private pool but very...

I always come to this Resort it has a private pool but very small , the food is getting worse , the staff are very lazy , the villa was empty of all facilities except water I had to beg to get any thing like cups spoons plates , Big pool is nice .. beach is clean .. the big sliding outdoor can't be locked !

We had an unfortunate experience when checking in with one...

We had an unfortunate experience when checking in with one of the front desk people chasing us to pay the second we stepped into the villa. It turned out it was a mistake on their end and the manager Mr. Santos did a great job to rectify the problem and make us feel better for our bad first impression. THIS IS THE WAY TO DO HOSPITALITY DOHA!! TAKE NOTES!!! I am posting this negative to show how good the stay was and how care and attention to the guest can create repeat visitors. It is cheaper to keep a customer than it is to get a new one. Something places in Qatar need to learn. A bunch of "sorry's" are not enough. Great Job Mr. Santos(manager), front desk, Chef Walter, and the F&B staff!! We will be back!!
