Great place to visit.

Great place to visit. Historical buildings and great overall city atmosphere. Very easy to get around but if you want to travel around the city the bus station takes everywhere you want to go. There is bus stations literally everywhere. The castles worth to visit allot of Dacian history that I enjoyed. There are allot of restaurants with local and international cuisine. Very impressed with the Romanian food. Great taste and people were very friendly. I def recommend anyone to visit Deva. You can play football, you can go swimming at resorts, you can go hiking in the mountains, you can bicycle, you can visit museums or have a park visit. Very interesting place. Pensions and small hotels have literally the best services in the EU. I never seen so much diversity and options in any other city like Deva. The standard is very high. Good quality bedding conditions and top customer service. For me Brasov and Deva are the best in Romania.

Deva has everything and more, to make you stay more . We loved the history Cetatea Deva, the park, the shoping opportunites, the Aqualand(not modern but the energy was relaxing so we made the most). Deva it is a must to visit .

Deva was a nice city to visit.

Deva was a nice city to visit. The attractions I enjoyed most were Giardini di Zoe (very scenic garden), the city centre, the Corvins' Castle in Hundeoara, Sarmizegetusa Ulpia Traiana, the "Prislop" monastery and last but not least, Germisara, where we discovered the roman thermal baths and saw the "Clocota" waterfall. The best restaurant I got to eat at in Deva was Bord 13.

Deva, it's a lovely town (about 60,000 people) very...

Deva, it's a lovely town (about 60,000 people) very important for the locals and you can see the locals in their ordinary life. Not much to see; lovely restaurants, a nice small fortress, and friendly people.

Everything was perfect. The host was nice and helpful. You really got everything you need here. Everything is made with style and they have not spared money when making it. Cafe machine - perfect. Furniture - perfect. Attention to detail - PERFECT. This is probably the best appartment I've ever stayed in. And I am Genius level 3. One example - the toilet paper is not thinner than the ozone layer like in hotels, it is thick and expensive. It was so clean, that I was affraid to use something, because I was gonna make it dirty.

10 out of 10, very safe and beautiful decorated environment, geranium and roses everywhere, super safe parking inside the compound, I was welcomed after a long road-trip with an ice cold „Ursus“ beer for free. Landlady spoke Romanian, French and some Italian, me German, English and some Latin : we understood each other perfectly well. After rich breakfast she offered me to prepare sandwiches for the trip and brought plastic bags and foil to my table: amazing !

The apartment was exactly as described. We had a relaxing overnight stay, absolutely loved the terrace/balcony. The view of the garden was sweet and calming and the Deva fortress impressive. The owners are super nice and helpful. It was easy to store our bicycles. We really liked our stay, pity we only had one night. .
