I loved that it was a women owned eco resort. No plastic water bottles. The staff was wonderful. Helped me beyond belief getting the tour I really wanted with a great guide. Good food and even an espresso machine!!!

I recently had the pleasure of spending a night at Fatima Hotel in Musanze, and it truly exceeded my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warm smiles and genuine hospitality that made me feel instantly at home. I stayed in a Large Double Room, which was not only spacious but also thoughtfully designed for comfort. The room was impeccably clean, with a cozy bed, elegant decor, and all the modern amenities I needed for a restful night. The atmosphere was peaceful, offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape — a perfect retreat after a day of exploring the beauty of Musanze. What truly set this stay apart, however, was the exceptional service. Every member of the staff was kind, attentive, and eager to ensure I had everything I needed. Whether it was the front desk team, housekeeping, or the restaurant staff, their friendliness and professionalism made my experience feel personal and special. Fatima Hotel is more than just a place to stay — it's a place where hospitality is deeply felt. I left feeling refreshed, cared for, and already planning my next visit. If you're visiting Musanze, I highly recommend this charming hotel. It’s a rare blend of comfort, service, and local charm that will leave a lasting impression

Kinigi Cottage is a hidden gem among the overpriced lodges of the area. We stayed in the second floor room with the huge balcony, and we had amazing views of the volcanoes nearby. The property is walking distance from the Dian Fossey museum and central to all activities in the region. Our kids had a great time playing in the beautiful gardens all around the building, and the indoor and outdoor fires added a great touch of character to our evening. We had a wonderful dinner (extra cost) and an even better breakfast with a full spread of goodies (included). I will not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone staying in the region. Perfect.
