We had a wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful stay! The staff was really helpful in giving suggestions on things to see and do in the area. And the amount of Lars Lerin - paintings made the planned trip to the Sandgrund-gallery in Karlstad almost unnecessary. The only thing to point a finger at is the lack of heating in the bathroom.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Skara Stadshotell! From the moment I arrived, everything was amazing. The hotel’s location is perfect, right in the heart of Skara, making it easy to explore the town and nearby attractions. The rooms were clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated with a perfect blend of old charm and modern comfort. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, making me feel very welcome throughout my stay

Breakfast was good, the staff were quite nice...the room is very spacious compared to most hotel rooms visited in Sweden. Complimentary tea&coffee is a good touch. Good to see the room has TV since this was missed in the available electronics listed on the hotel description.

Nice hotel (guest house) located only a short distance from Skara. Formerly a bishops' official residence. The spacious public areas add to the character and there is a nice restaurant serving lunch and evening meals. Well located for a road trip across Sweden.

In relation to the price that I paid this hotel was really excellent. It is a simple hotel with not frills. However, it is clean, there is a kitchen where you can prepare your own meal and the staff was very friendly.
