Perfect location, fantastic breakfast. (They have homemade crisp bread that they insisted I take the recipe for;) Vry clean, friendly & helpful staff. Comfortable bed, quiet, good temperature, not a lot of TV stations, but that was fine. They have a lounge where you can relax with free coffee if you left luggage & need to wait for the train (which is right across the street;) And they had my room ready, a couple of hours early!

The lively and colourful main square of Stora Torget is surrounded by narrow cobbled streets, shops, restaurants and cafés.

great university town with lots of history. go to Gustavium -university museum - before your trip to the mounds as that had more artifacts and better explanation of excavations. Small museum at Mounds was also worthwhile.

Uppsala is a nice city, in the short time we were there, we saw the castle, churches, park, historical part, it is a beautiful view also along the water and the view of the bridges. We were also in the pool in Fyrishov - they only had a swimming pool open at the time, but it was a nice refreshment, they also had a sauna there. We went on a trip to Ala to a farm, where they have highland cows and Swedish fika and kardamombulle - my favorite. You move around the region with the UL app, it is worth buying a full-day ticket. If you are traveling to the airport, with the UL app it is free of charge, if you have purchased a 24-hour ticket, if you go by BUS. If you go to the airport with this ticket by train, you have to buy an "airport entrance". To Stockholm you need another SL app or a combined UL + SL ticket, which you can buy in the SL app. We would definitely like to come back here :)

I visited at the begining of July the roads were very quiet...

I visited at the begining of July the roads were very quiet not many cars but bicycles everywhere so need to be very careful as they rule the road! Lots of road works and construction going on with some roads closed which sent my satnav crazy trying to recalibrate a route. Castle is a must see destination for history and views. It's free entry and story boards are in English. Linnaeus garden and house was really excellent also.

I am in awe of Uppsala. It is a very beautiful ancient town.

I am in awe of Uppsala. It is a very beautiful ancient town. There is a very beautiful river with many bridges, and a very beautiful old cathedral. It is located not far from Stockholm. You can get there in 40 minutes by train.

Uppsala is beautiful.

Uppsala is beautiful. Unfortunately some of the places we wanted to see were closed in April or had short opening hours so we couldn’t see everything we wanted to so we will return. We enjoyed th cafe in the library and the one in the castle.

The old town area is so full of historical buildings and culture. There is so much to see but don’t miss the Arboretum, the best I have seen in years. Also great shopping in the walking shopping district.

Comfortable room, lovely bedsheets and well equipped small gym. Good variety for breakfast, simple dinner with definitely too much red meat on the menu. Little space to have your breakfast, you just choose between sharing the table with strangers or waiting a while to get a table on your own. Maybe trying to reorganize from Clarion to Home Hotel means sharing is caring? Good location. There more good things about this place than stuff you’d complain about so I was happy anyway.

Everything was excellent Location is minutes from the central station. Lots of shops, restaurants, and bars close by and city centre is only a few steps away. Staff were nice and responsive. The room was fine, and WiFi was reliable and fast. Shared bathroom and shower facilities were more than adequate. Highly recommend staying here when visiting this lovely town. Uppsala is only 20 minutes away from Stockholm Arlanda Airport and about 40 minutes from Stockholm City.

The hotel is in an excellent location for exploring Uppsala. We actually walked the 15 min from the train station with our cases, and it was fine. The room had an excellent view of the city and was a good size and clean. The breakfast offered a huge range of choices and the lounge was also a comfortable place for an evening drink or snack.

We spent a night at Spinrockhsvägen 39, Uppsala, Sweden. We had a quiet night and slept in a new bed and used a shared toilet. The landlord was very social and companionable and offered us fruit and ice cream in the evening and a very tasty Egyptian style breakfast with Turkish coffee, bread, egg, vegetables and beans.
