I've been here three times now, and I'm always having a good time here. The location is overwhelming, on a 650m hilltop, with a wonderful view of Kranj and the mountains. Free parking is always available. I don't recommend visiting the town without a car, if you're not an experienced hiker - the walk uphill is really long and demanding. Better to drink a coffee on the balcony and enjoy the terrific view - or go to the outstanding restaurant.

Only 2.5 mi from Ljubljana Airport, the newly built garni Hotel Azul is located in the suburbs of Kranj, a 15-minute drive to Ljubljana's center. Free parking and free Wi-Fi are provided.

Excellent peaceful location with a restaurant next door, a bar at the property. Wonderful host, very attentive. It was nice to see water and juices available in the fridge. Lovely forest in front of our terrace. We walked our dog in the forest. Safe parking on the grounds of the property.
