We liked the location a lot, it was a quick walk to the beer fountain (the town's main attraction) and near a grocery store which we appreciated. It's also a 15 minute drive to nearby charming medieval town Celije. We stopped here during a road trip enroute back to Ljubljana. This is not a glamorous place to stay, but it's good price for value.

It's an amazing welcoming studio. We really enjoyed our day here. The first accommodation where our kids didn't even notice there was a tv on the wall because they were too impressed with all the great antiques tastefully arranged all over the house. Our host was so nice preparing treats and drinks.

The hot tub was amazing and really added to our relaxation. The bed was super comfortable, and the sofas were perfect for lounging. The thyme growing outside made a big difference in cooking fresh meals. Overall, the whole design and vibe of the place made it a truly special experience. We also really appreciated Vita’s warm and attentive hospitality — she was always available and made us feel very welcome. Thank you so much, Vita!

I arrived late, tired, it was a rainy day, I had been driving for a long time, and the first impression when I entered the hotel was wonderful, the smell at the entrance, the friendly staff, the keys and the room waiting, ready, clean and tidy. Everything was great, and when I got up for breakfast, I hadn't eaten such delicious food in a long time. The cheeses were excellent, the fruit was fresh and delicious. And like in most hotels, in the morning, when we are in the most hurry and have the least time, when we leave, you wait for the bill for 10-20 minutes. In this hotel, the bill was already ready, it was in an envelope, packed with a thank-you note and a small gift. They are to be commended.

​The hotel is spotlessly clean, and the location is absolutely perfect. It is also very convenient that they provide on-site parking. The breakfast was incredibly diverse with plenty of delicious options to choose from. The overall service and the entire staff are excellent, but I want to give a special shout-out to Sabina, who truly goes above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. I highly recommend Hotel Grande Celje!

The city is great! There's so much to do and to see! It's small, but if you find the right places it's packed of people welcoming you. And if you don't find the right places, the city is still a welcoming, cheap and funny place to visit!
