The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The hotel is relatively new, and all of the facilities are in excellent condition and well maintained. A thoughtful touch is that the rooms are equipped with power adapters, which is very convenient for international travelers. The location is another major advantage. Several supermarkets and restaurants are within walking distance, making it easy to access daily necessities and dining options. For those planning a visit to Pangaimotu Island, the boat departs from the area across from Evergreen Chinese Restaurant, which is also within easy walking distance from the hotel. Overall, I had a very pleasant stay and would highly recommend this hotel to both business and leisure travelers.

It's definitely value for your money. It gives you an experience of what even the more expensive hotels in the area don't give you. The food was also exceptionally good. Staff are super helpful and go out of their way to help you.

The staff was exceptional. I did not have a power converter plug for my laptop. When I asked the person at the front desk if they had any she unplugged one of her electronics and gave me hers. You wouldn't find that happening in the US.

Maria and her team were really nice and attentive. Facility was clean and quiet. Breakfast was good and plenty. The air conditioning was much appreciated as it was humid when we were there. Airport pickup/drop-off available by request (subject to a fee in certain timeframe). Car hire available onsite so that was really great because we only needed 1 day to see 90% of the island. We got to see the water pigs right in front of the property.

Nukualofa is a nice quite slow pace town.

Nukualofa is a nice quite slow pace town. There's plenty of places to visit like the market and shops. Waterfront has a nice restaurant to check out. You can also drive around the island to see the Ha'amonga and the Blow Holes.

A great area.

A great area. Close to a lot of good dining places as well as great views and small shops so it’s really convenient. It is one of the busier areas of Tonga due to all the tourists but it was still easy to get around. One of the main places my partner and I visited was the bus stop area. Here, there is a strip containing a mix of different restaurants. The 3Men’s restaurant was a favourite of ours and one we would visit often for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is also a range of markets on the side of the roads of people selling fruits, vegetables, fresh seafood, etc and it’s so easy to pull over and purchase something on the go. There’s an easy access wharf area where a lot of people go to swim in the ocean or just enjoy the amazing views of the Tongan sea. Overall, a beautiful location and one I am definitely looking forward to revisiting in the future.

With the wheels the main island can be covered in one day or at a leisure over two days. The highlights are the blow holes and the Anahula caves. The food options are limited but enough for the place what it is. The main handicraft market is worth a visit with a number of stall offering local wood carvings and other ornaments at a reasonable price. The locals are friendly and helpful. Overall, spending a few days in the tropical island are worth it.

A great stop over for connecting flights to the outer islands of Tonga. Loved the blow hole coast, good idea to hire a car to get around. The central market is worth checking out for fresh fruit, veg and craft. The Seaview Lodge Restaurant was our favourite place to eat. Wanted to try the Korean restaurant too but it wasn't open on the dates we visited.

It's a small place, but there is variety of experience here - the vibrant market, the port area with street vendors, restaurants and 'fishing pigs', the very popular Friends restaurant, open all day and evening and serving good food, reasonably priced ...the more you look, the more you find!

I enjoyed all the amenities that came with the room. The owners were very thoughtful to include things such as house slippers and even toothpaste and toothbrushes which a lot of high end hotels don’t even provide, so it was nice to receive that. The shower was great including the water pressure and bed was super comfortable. The aircon was a major plus considering how hot it can get in tonga. Highly recommend Fantasy Inn!

For one person or a couple room is a good size with a very large king size bed (two mattresses pushed together). I had a balcony room on my return stay which was lovely for sitting on in the afternoon. Bathroom was great, hot water and good pressure. Transfers from hotel were great (at a cost).
