Centrally located hotel. There was a 24-hour grocery store next door. All staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was freshly made and delicious. There was very good energy in the complex. Room size was large. Shower was comfortable and perfect water pressure and temperature. Many shops and restaurants within walking distance.

I was the only in Mykolaiv two nights.

I was the only in Mykolaiv two nights. It's not really a tourist city. It is mainly a port city. There's a single McDonald's, very popular with the natives. There's The Fairy Tale, a mediocre amusement park for small children. Theres a zoo. And there's an Epicenter. The city is run down, showing decades of neglect. The footpaths, where they exist, are in really poor condition. And the streets flood every time it rains. Not recommended.

Mykolaiv holds a bit more charm than meets the eye.

Mykolaiv holds a bit more charm than meets the eye. It is a gritty industrial city ravaged by war. But there are pockets of beauty and resilience in the lives carved out by its people. Life goes on. There are good restaurants and cafes and a bit of life in the down town streets. After the war it will boom, right now it is surviving. I enjoyed Mykolaiv and its people. Everything worked, people were polite and helpful. The security situation seemed no worse than other cities in southern Ukraine. There are air raid sirens once or twice per day but actual attacks - vs alerts -are probably a few per week.

Mykolaiv is one of my favourite cities in Ukraine.

Mykolaiv is one of my favourite cities in Ukraine. Despite the war in Ukraine, Mykolaiv lives its life. You still can find lot's of things to see and to do. There are many descent restaurants/pubs/bars around the city. Nice and welcoming city!

I was just delivering humanitarian aid and had to get out...

I was just delivering humanitarian aid and had to get out the next morning. I arrived in the evening and was glad to find accomodations after a long drive. The city water supply is not working at all. One needs bottled water to drink, shower, and use the toilet. I got lucky that there were two jugs of water provided. Fortunately, electricity and internet were working good. I also had decent parking and a code for inside the property. It is wartime there now, and I just dropped aid off the next morning and departed.

Location is in the center. The kitchen, AC, washing machine and very good WIFI were available in the apartment. Nice view from windows and balcony. Very well equiped, clean, spacious, comfortable. This is the central location in Nikolaev. Nice local coffee shop across the road, bakery and supermarket “Mida” very close! And friendly hosts. Walking to the river takes no more than 3-5 min. I like it very much! Thank you!

This small hotel has an interesting architecture which makes it special. I had the Junior Suite with balcony over the entrance and the room itself was awesome. Well equipped, too. The staff was very welcoming, with a great smile, and they very much tried to speak English. Was nice.
