The owner was incredibly sweet and very attentive, Super down to earth and lovely to chat with. She brought coloring books, colored pencils, and books for my son. The bed was super comfortable and I slept better there than at home. Located at the back of the house, making it a very private and quiet place to stay, which I loved. Kitchenette was stocked with coffee, cutlery, dishes and all kind of other things. Everything from the bathroom and shower, to the furniture and extra amenities makes this a luxurious feeling stay away from home. This area has limited options for lodging, if its affordable it is generally not a great stay. However, This location gives the comfort, cleanliness, and amenities with a very affordable price. I can't wait to stay here on our next trip.

There are sooo many pluses at Dollinger's.

There are sooo many pluses at Dollinger's. New door locks, new carpeting, new shower stall (with fabulous shower head!), new sink and taps. Good TV with lots of channels, comfy bed with immaculate bedding. Fridge with separate freezer compartment, microwave, coffeemaker. All great, including the rates! The only hotel I know that only charges $5 a day for having a dog in your room. The clerk on reception was very pleasant, and very helpful when asked for restaurant recommendations. She also troubleshooted my remote to the TV to my satisfaction. The only downsides... 1) Not enough lights in the room. One floor lamp in one corner, and one bedside lamp. (And, of course, the light in the bathroom.) One whole side of the room was quite dark. 2) Peeling wallpaper in the bathroom. 3) REALLY old, low toilet in the bathroom. It functioned well, but was pretty awful to look at, and sit on. 4) one side chair was disgusting. Not only would I not sit in it, I wouldn't even place any of my possessions on it!
