United StatesThe breakfast had variety and the lady working was very efficient. The motel was extremely clean and the beds were comfortable. I struggle with allergies when we travel. I had no issues at all. I probably slept too long. I don't have a single complaint about the stay.

We did antique and thrift store shopping in town.
We did antique and thrift store shopping in town. There was a parade going on but we did not partake. Also, there was a car show so we some cool old classics.
You have to go out to Carlos Creek Winery when you are in the area. It is fun and relaxing for all ages.

It was beautiful, check out Arrowwood resort and conference...
It was beautiful, check out Arrowwood resort and conference center. Casey's amusement park, everything was awesome. They have beautiful lakes and parks, this is a place to slow down but access the fun when you're ready. Food was great here we tried loro tacos and Talltrees restaurant exceptional, the KFC was decent as well.

It was a bustling weekend - Memorial Day weekend is a good...
It was a bustling weekend - Memorial Day weekend is a good time to visit. So much to explore, lots of vendors set up in the different parks, farmer's markets, art vendors, food trucks, music. Something for everyone. Check out the little local shops, museums and definitely go see Big Ole!

The view was beautiful. The beds were comfortable.
The rooms definitely need an update. It’s very dark and dingy lots of water damage all over. Slider door did not lock. Doors all over were unlocked for the public. The shower filled up while showering, sinks as well (slow draining)
Staff was very childish and was too busy playing around. The big water park was not open not sure why and didn’t want to go but that’s a big part of that hotel and the pricing.

The breakfast was excellent. The coffee was surprisingly good. The staff were very friendly. We were driving across the country, but I wish I could have lingered longer in Alexandria. The room was well appointed with a large fridge and microwave.
