The only problem we had was there was no body soap in the shower dispenser. I guess you don't check this after each guest.

The location was perfect for a weekend getaway, the area was so quiet and peaceful. The hot tub was a huge bonus too! The property owners were responsive and so nice and accommodating. We would stay here again.

I walked down to White Pines Lake which a lot of people were...

I walked down to White Pines Lake which a lot of people were using. Bistro Express has great coffee and simple and good breakfasts and great coffee. It's only four miles from Calaveras Big Trees State Park which was really busy on Saturday morning.

Arnold is a nice little town tucked away in green forest...

Arnold is a nice little town tucked away in green forest area with a lake, small museum, calaveras big trees state park, eateries and a downtown making it a good weekend stay. I got enough over a weekend and might not consider a repeat visit. Specially because California is full of similar places. Didn’t find anything unique.

We love Arnold. We love the small town feel.

We love Arnold. We love the small town feel. We love the towering pine trees and the incredible smell of the forest. We love touring the different neighborhoods. Arnold is our favorite get away. Arnold is small, quaint, and affordable!.

Arnold is a gem of a place.

Arnold is a gem of a place. We have visited 4 times including summer and winter time and it’s always a good Experience. There are enough amenities like big tree market and restaurants so you’re not off the grid but still get the seclusion from everyday hustle and bustle We love the charm and character of Arnold and also love to visit murphys just down the road about 20 Minutes

Excellent service and we were met by a very polite and friendly Heder. She helped us deal with all the issues on the spot and was very polite. She helped us solve a lot of important issues with which we came on our first trip to this area. There was a charge for our electric car at the hotel. The required amount of linen and towels. The staff is very friendly to pets. We came with our dog and she was also very pleased. The territory near the hotel is very convenient. There is an area for BBQ and relaxation

Would love to come back one day! A family of deers came in the yard while we were casually discussing nature preservation and aging biology over the beer with the hosts. The room was lovely: spacious and nicely furnished, the bed was comfortable (we're pretty picky); wifi was great; hot water; also so many snacks and spare hygiene supplies in the bathroom -- we felt like visiting family rather than staying in a hotel.
