I chose Athens as a great place to stay out of convenience...

I chose Athens as a great place to stay out of convenience from I-75. I didn’t realize how many amenities were located nearby the hotel. The Hiwassee Train ride is about a half hour drive which was my destination. This hotel was the bonus. The MCM decor in the lobby and thoughtful touches in the design of areas such as the breakfast room made me feel welcome and comfortable. Breakfast is great so reserve the easy stroll over to Cracker Barrel next door for supper!

The pillows are amazing. The bed, ehh.

The pillows are amazing. The bed, ehh. I prefer a softer bed. But still you will get the best night sleep of your life. I love to relax in the tub and once you filled up the tub, it would immediately start draining. So I had to alternate between filling up the tub, draining it, filling it, and so forth. This is our second stay at this hotel. A great hotel.

Athens was a neat little city.

Athens was a neat little city. It reminded of other smaller cities in the U S. There is a country feel to it. We especially liked the Mayfield Dairy Welcome Center. The shakes were really good and they had a gift shop.

Absolutely everything. We stayed fo a few months while looking for a house in Knox. And from day 1 , the staff which is the first hotel I’ve ever been too that’s ran by folks that could be ur family! Ms Katie at front desk, Brittni who is the hardest working southern girl I’ve ever met, And Raven could be my twin sister. So she’s perfect. Thanks guys!! Kim Ellis
