So hard to believe this property is located in Auburn, CA. It feels like a luxury 5 star hotel in an exotic location. Staff was attentive, responsive and so pleasant. This was definitely a hotel I’d recommend staying at and the price was truly affordable. Superb breakfast, which came included with our stay.

This Motel was adorable it had underneath parking under your room so it was shaded we loved that we love the fact that it had a refrigerator and a microwave oven the beds were very comfortable and the room was super clean and the attendant that was there was really really nice her name was Anna. The front desk was very nice when we checked in and it was very close to the downtown area within walking distance it had a Starbucks and a CVS. We would recommend this place to anybody looking for a nice place to say that's quiet and clean and comfortable!

Auburn is a gem.

Auburn is a gem. Tallest bridge in the state just down a mile down the road. Rivers, creeks, lakes and ponds swarimng with fish. Decent Restaurants, a few bars (only one dive left) bowling alley, tons of history and sites to see.

Lost reservation.

Lost reservation. Called 1800Holiday, and was transferred around so much, ended up with a Chase bank asking me questions!!! Stay...had to pay out of pocket for a room, since they didn't have my reservation, even though I had the confirmation number.. Room not vacumed, floor covered in papers, garbage, and food crumbs, beds not neat,as if someone had laid on both, I had to sleep in my clothes and on top of bed with my own blanket!!!

Auburn was a great location as it was close to our destinations as well as a spontaneous visit to Penn Valley and the covered bridge in Bridgeport. Just 20 minutes past that and we were able to drive through a covered bridge at Oregon Creek Park (a beautiful spot with such clear, cool water that beckoned us to lose our shoes and wade into the creek!).

We love Auburn!

We love Auburn! Despite being beside the freeway the town has everything a traveller could want. Beautiful days, hot weather but cool at night to make sleeping easy. For us it was most things were within easy walking distance of where we stayed on the edge of the old town. Great people who are very friendly and helpful, good food, interesting crafts and art to buy.

Auburn is a quant town.

Auburn is a quant town. The hiking and river access are superb. It is beautiful gold country with quite a bit to do, especially if you are the outdoorsy type. I went to Mammoth Bar OHV, it is a place to ride, but I was there to look for gold and I found some.

Auburn is beautiful, and even if you are only there for a few hours there are great places to eat, fun locations to explore, and sights to see. My family always makes sure to stop by ikeda's on our way out of town.

I’m staying overnight for a trail race the next day. It’s about a 10-minute drive from Auburn. The place feels a bit old, but it’s like a motel with some extra amenities.
