This is a beautiful gem of a hotel and location if you're looking for a traditional beach holiday, especially for families. Staff were amazing, especially Nicole who helped us so much during our stay. The location is amazing, the decor is beautiful, it's super clean and a really good spot to enjoy the Californian coast with kids, since the waves are a bit more gentle. The hotel was a total hit with our kids, they loved the pool and jacuzzi!

The beach is well kept, particularly given the large number of visitors. It is a great place for families! I like that you have the grassy areas and it appears cement picnic tables have been added to the beach area adjacent to the bbq's. There is a nice selection of eateries on the boardwalk and the nearby bike and walking trail is wonderful!!

Avila Beach is a beautiful, peaceful coastal town with stunning ocean views, a relaxing atmosphere, and plenty of places to walk, dine, and enjoy the beach. It’s a wonderful destination for a weekend getaway, and the weather was pleasant during our visit.

The staff was great.

The staff was great. Parking, stairs and room appearance was not suitable. There was mold in the room. Sundeck was very nice. The location was excellent. We walked the town. We love the outdoor sitting while eating. Great ocean view. We would stayed in Avilla Beach again, just not at the Inn at Avilla Beach.

I loved everything about the hotel.

I loved everything about the hotel. It’s the best that we’ve stayed at so far. The hot tub was phenomenal. A nice fireplace in the room. The view was OK. The beach was right up the street. It was exceptionally great. I did a birthday package for my husband, and it exceeded my expectations. He loved it. I recommend this hotel to any and everyone that wants to have a wonderful experience the ambience in the room was so romantic. It was perfect for Valentine’s Day and his birthday.

The hotel was excellent with friendly staff, clean room and beautiful gardens. There were fire pits and the pool and hot tub were excellent. Right across from the beach with restaurants and shops within walking distance.

Avila Beach is a quiet town with a beautiful promenade and harbour. Our hotel was outstanding and just a short walk from the promenande with spectacular views across the bay. Cannot recommend highly enough for a short stay.

Wow - what a hidden gem. Avila Beach is a quiet beach / harbour just off the CA1 and is simply outstanding. We only stayed for one night but wanted to stay longer. We walked into the small promenade and had dinner in the Custom House. Overall - highly recommended location and hotel

It feels like a European hotel...Quirkey ...but many free amenities. Bikes, pie and ice cream at night. Delicious free quiche cappuccino croissants breakfast on an ocean view terrace included. I think each room is decorated differently. Great location. Would return

We always have a wonderful time, between playing pickle ball and going in the hot tub at the resort next door to riding bikes to Avila Beach on the Bob Jones Trail. It’s so fun and freeing to our souls!
