The staff was super friendly Well then my room was on the second floor. They offered to help me carry my bags. The room was large clean, well appointed and the heater was good. Which in the middle of 100 year storm was really quite important. I was travelling for work with a friend. We had a fabulous time and would definitely stay here again. The view was amazing. There was a park for small children. The breakfast was good and we felt the staff really cared about our needs.

We had a wonderful stay, the house is absolutely gorgeous. We were lucky enough to meet one of the owners and get a tour of the tunnels and a bit of the history on our first night in. It was fascinating and I highly recommend chatting with them if you get a chance. We stayed in the last room in the back but it is connected to the rest of the house through hallways and is easy to navigate. My friend and I went skiing while my boyfriend stayed in the house and explored the town. He had the house mostly to himself both days on a holiday weekend and he enjoyed being in the space reading and working. The house is not staffed all the time but it is set up to have everything you need and you can always call someone. The rooms were warm and cozy. They offer pasties and coffee for breakfast which was lovely. Short 20 min drive to Okemo. Copper fox in town is delicious for dinner. All in all a wonderful gem that we were lucky to find.
