United StatesI have been traveling too Tuscaloosa for years for the Alabama Home Football games. My stay has always been in Tuscaloosa. One of my friends suggested staying in Bessemer, so this year I booked this wonderful location! I will continue to stay at this wonderful, clean amazing place!! The staff are excellently trained, the facilities are immaculately clean!! The Beds are so very comfortable!! Thank you keeping customer service a standard!

United StatesThe area was clean.. refurbishment being done, so dust, noise and areas that need attention. Housekeeping staff was interesting with not cleaning the room during the stay, but on the last night they checked us out early and was surprised we were there. We would stay here again 😊

We were there for the Southeast Gassers at Holiday dragway, If we had not done paid for 2 nights we would have come home the 2nd night. I am not one hard to please BUT I will not be staying at NO motel 6 Again! I know nothing bout any other motel there just Motel 6!

Wasn't really in the downtown part of Bessemer but more on the outskirts so it was quite and secure. Within 20-30 minutes of major shopping centers and popular restaurants. 35 minutes from Birmingham or Tuscaloosa.

Booked this hotel as an in-between stop between home and New...
Booked this hotel as an in-between stop between home and New Orleans. Just offering the interstate, it was very quiet. The staff were excellent, very friendly and the epitome of southern hospitality. The breakfast buffet was nice, the room was recently updated, and we had a great night's sleep. Check in and out was simple.

Bessemer, AL is our halfway point for our trip from Bridge City, TX to Charleston, WV. We have stayed in several of the hotels on Academy Way and I must say, the Holiday Inn is our choice for all future stays. We rested very well in this facility and location.

We spent our time in Hoover and downtown Birmingham.
We spent our time in Hoover and downtown Birmingham. We had been to Bessemer before and our experience then was that the hotel was its best feature. My opinion remains the same. If you go, stay at the Hampton; however, plan for your interests and/or activities to be 20-30 minutes away.

Location was good. Comfortable beds. No breakfast, no coffee, no bagged breakfast , fruit or muffins, ** As Advertised** no coffee in the hotel at all. Coffee maker in room did not work and no one could replace it. The Staff said they had no idea how to take care of it for us, they couldn’t help us, & couldn’t give us another coffee pot. We had to leave the facility to get morning coffee and bring it back in. We arrived at the hotel 7:15 pm, our room was not ready. After driving eight hours. It was not convenient to have to wait another 30 minutes for our room to get ready. Very rude night staff. Renovations going on, somewhat unclean.

The hotel was gross. The check in time was different from what it said online, I get up to the room and it was smelly like mold, the location was bad and there was drug deals going on in the parking lot. The outlets didn’t work, some of the lights wouldn’t turn on, there was dead bugs in the room. I tried to get a refund and they wouldn’t give me one when I was in the room for 10 mins. I ended up getting another hotel somewhere else and didn’t stay there at all.

As I entered the hotel I could smell the elements of cleanliness, which I’m a big fan of I was just amused at the constant professionalism. So with that being said the Hamilton in Bessemer Alabama is a 5 star hotel you will not be disappointed. Great staff and great stay.

This hotel is absolutely horrible and mold everywhere three out of six children threw up for 2 days I had nowhere else to go. Nobody takes responsibility for the problems in the hotel I will be snowing reports to the state the health facility and everything else.

Someone smoked in a room at 12:30 am.
The alarm went off and the entire hotel was evacuated in the middle of the night.
All because some idiot thought they should have a late night smoke.😡
