United StatesMy husband and I recently spent 3 nights at the Town Square Retreat in Blairsville, Georgia. The location is perfect, within walking distance of everything on the square. It was so clean, and well prepared. There were plush robes for guests, bottled seltzer water in the fridge, and wonderful smelling bath soap and shampoo.There was a sweet hand written note from Rochelle when we arrived, and she contacted us several times to make sure we had everything we needed. We felt very comfortable and welcome, and we will definitely stay there again when we are in Blairsville!

United StatesIt was my wife birthday,we stayed in that place for 2 days. Everything was good ,hotel is’t new,but all clean and good condition. Perfect lake view room,you can walking around and enjoying 🙏🙏🙏 at 8 pm you can go outside to main fire place,and cook marshmallows on fire,it was pretty cool 👍 restaurant was excellent,staff,food,view,piano music everything was amazing 👍🙏

Great little town with a beautiful square.
Great little town with a beautiful square. There are lots of little local restaurants and shops. We enjoyed the food there and used the town as a base camp for our AT backpacking trip. Blairsville Social had good lunch and dinner while Hole in the Wall had excellent breakfast.

Hotel was great, excellent location. Park down the road was awesome and Mike's Seafood was awesome and reasonably priced with excellent staff. Shopping conveniently near by. 'Expect to visit again next year for sure.

Blairsville is a beautiful little town surrounded by...
Blairsville is a beautiful little town surrounded by mountains and very friendly people. The bookstore and Hemlock Trading Company were 2 of our favorite stores. The Hole in the Wall had a wonderful breakfast and we enjoyed the Seafood Festival very much!

Up until a few years ago, I was rating it perfect.
Up until a few years ago, I was rating it perfect. It's not so now. Prices are going uphill and quality vanishing, little by little every time we visit. Traffic is nor a problem, but it's getting there. With a constant flow of Atlanta weekend spenders, most restaurants are becoming more and more expensive (in price) and cheap (in quality). It seems that very soon it will be no more than a tourist / visitors destination, because of the location close to Atlanta and the lakes, and the great scenery. So Nature did it's part, now it's up to us, humans, to appreciate and maintain it.
Footnote: Meeks Park and Meeks Park II is, to me and my wife, the best park area we have ever been in, with enough human interference so it's easy and convenient, and at the same time respectful to the Creator. I keep my fingers crossed that future generations will not mess up with it, by doing more than necessary maintenance work.

Everyone we met was so friendly and loved living in the area...
Everyone we met was so friendly and loved living in the area. The downtown is nice and easy to walk around. Free parking and nice public restrooms. There was no traffic anywhere to speak of even on Hwy 76. The pace is much slower than Florida, and many of the people we met actually moved from FL, so we got a lot of info about relocating to the area. Our only issue is the steep and windy, curvy roads in the mountains that scared the heck out of us. Meeks Park was beautiful and we can't wait to explore rhe other State parks and falls nearby.

Beautifully and tastefully appointed., with attention to every detail. Immaculately clean, with plenty of cleaning products provided to help you keep it that way. The bed was incredibly comfortable, with excellent linens, pillows and comforter, making it difficult to get out of. Right off Blairsville Square, you are in walking distant to the many shops and restaurants found there. The two large screen TVs have practically every channel, network and app available. It was an amazingly in town hidden gem and we will be back time and again.
