Buckhannon was nice. Shopping, restaurants. Peggy's restaurant has a very good breakfast, lunch, & dinner. We like the painting's on the wall by a local artist. They are for sale, and we have many of them in our home.

It is a very small quaint town, with some of the best places...
It is a very small quaint town, with some of the best places to eat. But what everyone should know most is their fabulous donut shop. The donut shop has a large variety of donuts. There is a flavor that is sure to please just about anyone. The best in my opinion was the Strawberry shortcake. The donut shop also offers sandwiches too. If ever in Buchanan you got to try the Donut Stop.

It is a beautiful place, the downtown area is thriving.
It is a beautiful place, the downtown area is thriving. Food and Walmart are all within 1 mile. Other attractions are 1 hour away. Unseasonably warm in February, but it happens everywhere. Don’t expect to get cell service everywhere as the mountains block the towers. Friendly people, but judgemental of “outsiders”, don’t let it bother you.

The property was in a nice quiet area of Buckhannon but still very close to the town centre. It was very clean and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The beds were super comfortable and we all had a great sleep. There was a great variety of food for breakfast and there was the added benefit of swimming pool, gym and laundry room. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Everything(location, staff, room) about this hotel is AWESOME! The desk front people are very friendly, the room is clean, bed is comfortable. It's so quiet, we had a good rest. Breakfast is simple but fresh and nice. We love the atmosphere of this place. Price is reasonable as well. Will love to come back and stay again. Strongly recommended!!!
