The customer service was amazing, from the front desk, to the bar staff and the housekeeping staff! I also love the fact that we were offered to stay a little longer to enjoy the amenities. We were actually able to enjoy the pool and bar.

I specifically asked for an ocean view. What i got was hilarious. A very small window , like 16" x 16" view of the ocean. Thankfully, it had a blind. You know that pesky morning sun and all.

It was very nice !! Plenty of space .. 2 blocks from the beach and boardwalk .. had absolutely everything you needed to cook including a grill all pots and pans and utensils.. overall for the price and location HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !!

This was the loveliest little home! We loved how walkable everything was, but how quiet and peaceful it is too! The front porch was so cozy, I think we spent more time there than in the house, haha. Our pup especially loved the fenced in yard and the outdoor shower was a lifesaver. We’re already looking forward to our next stay!

Carolina Beach, NC didn’t disappoint. There is plenty to do and see. Food, shopping, rides etc., the boardwalk is a fun and exciting place to hang out. Something for everyone. Make sure you get some Britt’s donuts before you leave, best donuts I’ve ever had in my life!

My daughter and I have been fans of Carolina Beach for years...

My daughter and I have been fans of Carolina Beach for years. We have stayed in motels and camped at the State Park, enjoying both experiences. Until this year, we looked forward to visiting one of the bars/restaurants on the boardwalk for its amazing crab dip and steamed seafood (they have apparently changed hands and direction; we didn't find the changes appealing). We did have seafood at Salty's and thoroughly enjoyed it. The beach itself is great, and we feel comfortable going into the water when lifeguards deem it safe.

We went to Kure beach every single day and it was amazing! Perfect for families. If you have little ones or not strong swimmers stay waist deep those rip currents WILL get you! The sand is PERFECT it’s powdery and soft. There is a shop nearby for every need! Perfect place to go on vacation!

Sarah the host was amazing went above and beyond ! Home cozy very clean and is in a nice quiet and clean area! House location walking distance to beach restaurants and attractions. You don’t need to drive anywhere! We will book it again dog friends and fence yard is a plus also clean and has outside shower wish is great to rinse or give your pet a bath also if coming from beach !

I was born in Wilmington, NC.

I was born in Wilmington, NC. I often went to Carolina Beach as a child. This is my first time visiting as an adult. Carolina Beach is still beautiful as ever! I enjoyed everything about Carolina Beach. I stayed at the Hilton Tapestry. My room was beautiful, and I was happy that the floors were hardwood! I enjoyed a great meal and service at Soul Flavor. Traffic was heavy, so I walked from my hotel to the boardwalk and restaurant and back.

Such A Wonderful place in North Carolina!

Such A Wonderful place in North Carolina! We were treated like ROYALTY BY the manager on duty. he WAS MOST INTERESTED IN OUR STAY. Wanted us to "do well" while we were here! I was the ROAD WARRIOR for 25 years. In all those travels, I fell in love with Wilmington & Carolina Beach! I cannot wait to go back!!!

Great property and location! Was in walking distance of Carolina Beach and had a great underground pool nearby and hot tub. Was very clean! The host was very friendly and responsive! It was nice to use the codes for the condo door and the gate that allowed access to the beach! Was nice there was a lot of beach accessories towels and toys provided in the closet. The parking was right in front of the condo. Had a great stay!;)

I love staying at Golden Sands, it is a smaller hotel but has fantastic views, beachfront! Staff is very nice. Rooms have been redone and are very cute. It is not a Marriot or Hampton Inn so you can't compare them to that but it is a great family place to stay. I travel alone a lot and feel very safe here!
