The location was perfect for exploring the many state and national parks in the area. Also, we thoroughly enjoyed the holiday celebrations in Carrabelle - the Christmas Festival and lighted boat parade were excellent, as well as the full moon Blues and Barbeque night at the Crooked River Lighthouse. The 2 bedroom condo was VERY large, comfortable beds, and had all we needed in the kitchen for our long weekend. The screened porch has a lovely view over the lake and golf course. It was very quiet, but I think that could be because it was not a busy season. I can highly recommend the on-site restaurant, the Crooked River Grille - the food was great and they took great care of us!

Perfect location. A short walk to the beautiful and peaceful Carrabelle Beach. House was well appointed and comfortable. The door lock of front and only door was the only HORRIFIC problem for us. Given the very long code and took several tries before we were successful. Door handle kept pulling off, whenever you tried to close the door.

Five stars. The location is perfect! Its only 15 minutes away from St. George Island beaches making it a perfect place to stay if you want easy access to the sand for a decent price (We did get a discount at the time of renting.). And for those who aren’t a fan of the sand but still want the sounds of the beautiful gulf water, the backyard offers a stunning view of Eastpoint Bay. You can literally watch the sunset from the comfort of the back porch (and might even see a few dolphins swimming by if you watch closely enough). Plus, there’s a TV room with lots of DVDs if you want to watch a few classic movies for a chill night in with an early 2000s feel. Getting to the place was easy (even in the dark since we arrived around 10 pm) and it was super easy to get inside with the electronic lock pad on the front door. There is also a quaint little kitchen (no dishwasher to be prepared to handwash dishes) and a laundry room which is a bonus. The only negative we found was that the place was a little dusty. A few of us had some allergies, but that may be because we were the first to stay at the place for a while since we went in the early spring. Overall, we would highly recommend the place if you’re looking for a nice quiet retreat at the beach and a very relaxing vacation.

excellent location, very quite with lots of birds, frogs, and lizards around the property. the walk to the beach is not bad at all, but might be tough with a lot of beach gear. the kitchen is small, but has everything we needed, just wouldn't try to cook a big meal in it (go out for dinner). the hot tub was great to unwind every night.

Very small town with a few shops.

Very small town with a few shops. There is a harbor with boats. We ate at Harry's bar. Seemed like a fun spot & food was pretty good. You could spend an hour or two and see everything there is.
