The location was perfect! So nice to wake up to views of Lake Superior. We also enjoyed very much the outdoor portion of the hot tub. Also located close to town and was easy ti go pick up dinner and get back quickly.

Amazing view of Lake Superior from your own balcony. We sat and enjoyed the view every morning and evening. Condo was exceptionally clean. Beds were large and comfortable. Great space and plenty of room for our group of 6 adults. Kitchen was well stocked with all the cooking utensils, pots, and spices we needed. Enjoined the pool and hot tub with incredible views as well. Nice location along North Shore as easy to get to all of the site seeing locations without all of the traffic. Property owner was very responsive and met all our needs. Highly recommend for your next stay. One of our favorite places we have ever stayed.

Room 426 Grand Superior Lodge 4/30-5/1 I was very disturbed that there are people out there who think nothing of ruining a vacation for a couple and just go on like it’s everyday life. This could be a book, but I’ll go into the four areas that not a single one of them by themselves is a trip wrecker but when you add them all together and they just keep going on, this definitely wasn’t worth the money I paid for the vacation. Cleanliness, a polite visitor before me, left their coffee with creamer in the coffee cups on top of the microwave and put the coffee and condiments back in the cups. So in getting a cup to drink out of, it slopped all over the microwave the carpet and myself. The trade-off when housekeeping came was here why don’t you go ahead and take these two dirty cups home with you… Onto the bathroom . Nice spacious bathroom, except when I opened the cupboard under the sink, the face of the cupboard door fell off into a pile on the bathroom tile. How you say does housekeeping check that the room is stocked without opening the cupboard? On to bed. Pulled the blankets back and there is blood stains on the sheet. You can’t make this up,you’re wrecking my vacation to top it all off I put lotion in my hair due to housekeeping leaving two lotions rather than a lotion and a shampoo.

Castle Danger has great food options like The Rustic Inn...

Castle Danger has great food options like The Rustic Inn Cafe (best delicately battered onion rings ever!). Lake Superior seemed only a few feet away from my window in the Grand Superior Lodge room. Castle Danger is close to Split Rock Lighthouse, Gooseberry Falls State Park, and Two Harbors. Lots to do, see, and eat within a few miles!
