The location is fantastic, right on the beach. Our room only had a partial view of the beach, but it was still very nice, comfortable and quiet. The hotel has coffee/tea/cookies in the reception area, a very welcome addition! Fridays there is a farmers market very close to the hotel, it's definitely worth going. The staff was super nice and helpful!

The location is absolutely perfect. I love it. It’s old charm, but it’s so well-maintained and I always feel very special staying there. It is refreshing to deal directly with people that have an interest in their property rather than dealing with a big chain. It’s one of the few places I’ve ever stayed at where I actually get brass keys given to me instead of a digital key card to swipe. They haven’t underground parking that is private and super accessible and free to resident staying in the hotel! Once you’ve parked there, you’ll find you don’t need to drive anywhere. You can just walk to the beach and to restaurants and coffee houses, antique shops, bakeries, etc. They have very delicious wine included in the evening during a happy hour and the morning breakfast quiche is very delicious too!

The room was very cozy and clean. The staff was exceptional. We really enjoyed our stay at the sunset Inn in Cayucos. We stayed there three nights and it felt like a home away from home and the breakfast in the morning was fantastic.

I loved the clean room with extra outlets. The bed was cozy, and so was the couch. We were in the room for disabled, and it was nice and roomy with a large shower. The proximity to the town and beach (across the street) was perfect. This was my 2nd time staying here this year. The staff are always friendly.
