Very clean, very friendly staff Alex the Manager and his wolf are great people and really care about the property. Nice quiet stay. The housekeeping staff is amazing also.

Super cozy, cute and accommodating. The room had everything I needed for the end of my section hike. I will think about staying again. They even had black washrags to clean the dirt, mud and grime of you. It is the little things that count.

This was my second time at the hotel. I booked again based on the great experience I had during the first stay. The breakfast was very good. We liked the scrambled eggs, english muffins and oatmeal. Loved the variety of toppings for the oatmeal. Also, the coffee was great! All in all, a very nice, clean area with sufficient table space for everyone. We also used the washer/dryer which was a lifesaver.

I was driving from Tennessee to Washington, D.C.

I was driving from Tennessee to Washington, D.C. Chilhowie was roughly halfway to my destination, so it was a convenient place to stop. The fact that this Motel 6 was adjacent to the Interstate was a big plus. I was pleased to see when I checked in that my room was clean and spacious with a clean bathroom and plenty of towels. I may very well stay there again the next time I drive to or from Tennessee.

I spent 5 minutes at this DUMP and it was 5 mons too long.

I spent 5 minutes at this DUMP and it was 5 mons too long. 4 mins was waiting for someone to come to thr counter just to tell me in a very thick foreign tone "we have no hot water but, you still stay"? No, we need hot water! "That's be ok I refund you". Piece of crap never refunded me and denied my money back. Place was/is dirty, in s poor part of town that wouldn't have been safe anyway. Don't even waist yur time with this dump!

The room was clean.

The room was clean. Mattress was a foam on plywood bed, so not very comfortable. The night I stayed they had no hot water, hotel wide outage. Ceiling tiles in bathroom were falling down. There is a lot of highway noise, so if you are a light sleeper, this is not your place. Staff was courteous, but not friendly. There is a nice coffee shop in Chilhowie, and a walking path along the river.

Great place to to stay for the price and located near...

Great place to to stay for the price and located near hardees if you want breakfast lucnh or dinner. but it does not have a pool just saying its most of the motel 6 says they do this does not which wasnt a big deal for use since we went when it was still cold, but rooms are nice and clean and stocked with what you need

This place located near I81.

This place located near I81. Room smells so clean with pinesol when walk in. Room and bathroom are big and open space, not too tight. Bed and pillows were so comfortable. The hardwood floor is beautiful with no carpet. The room has a small table with 2 chairs that we can enjoy eating our meals to go. Hardee's and pizza places within walking distance.
