Very nice city.
Very nice city. Love the park by the bridge and the shell for people to come and listen to variety of entertainment. Very clean and beautiful scenery.
You truly enjoyed the park that has the small zoo in it. Sorry, I cannot remember the name of it. We ate at the I believe Royal buffet Also your cinema is set up very well and being able to enjoy food there also.

we were in town for a wedding, so we didn't get a chance to see the whole town, but what we did was lovely. and we will have to return to do a leinenkugel's tour!

We just had a one night stay, but during that time visited...
We just had a one night stay, but during that time visited Leinie's Lodge which was fun. Wish we'd have had time for a brewery tour. Chippewa Falls has a lot going for it and could have easily spent a few days there.

We love Irvine Park -- the walk around the zoo and park area...
We love Irvine Park -- the walk around the zoo and park area is beautiful. We also rented kayaks from White's Rentals Paddle Shop and spent a couple hours on the southern, calmer waters of Lake Wissota--definitely recommend this opportunity. Walking the downtown throughout the weekend, we enjoyed good food from Casa Mexicana and Olson's Ice Cream. If we had more time, there were several more restaurants to try.

The pool was the highlight for the kids... that was the reason we chose this hotel, and would be the only reason in hindsight. definitely more shabby and worn than pictures and the hot tub had extremely strong chlorine... our eyes were burning after just a few minutes of sitting in it, and continued burning for half an hour. The pillows were better than some hotels...not the big hard pillows.
