Your place is super clean, and stocked extremely well with extra everything. Cleaning supplies was plentiful. Garbage bags. We didn't need anything during our stay. We would have loved to had a swifter mop for quick run thru the kitchen before we left but other than that it was such a great place for my family to have a quick little trip. We will definitely recommend your place and rent again.

We stayed for two nights and arriving late was not a problem, since you will get a key code. We enjoyed the walk over the dunes to get to the water. The apartment has everything you need and it was clean.

The house was very clean, decorated beautifully, and the beds were comfortable. The host was responsive and timely with questions and requests. There was plenty of space to accommodate the 8 of us. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed, except for a wafflemaker (which we brought). We were centrally located to the beaches, places to eat, and the shops.

Dauphin island is mainly for those that are retired or those...

Dauphin island is mainly for those that are retired or those that only want to fish and sit on the beach. There was only a few places to eat and everything was super expensive. General store was way over-priced as well and the cashiers were rude. Pirate's pizza, as well as Pirate's bar and grill, was delicious and friendly though expensive. Dockside grill was expensive, wait staff was rude, small portions that wasn't all that good. Instead of spending a week on the island, we could have done the few things offered in a weekend. We won't be coming back.

This is a place for people who don't like crowds.

This is a place for people who don't like crowds. Just relaxing in the sun on the beach was fun. We also liked the sea lab. Getting around Dauphin Island is really easy. Ft Gains was also very interesting. That is where we bought our tee shirts cause the prices were better.

Dauphin Island is charming and not commercialized like some...

Dauphin Island is charming and not commercialized like some of the nearby vacation destinations, yet it still has everything one might need for the perfect vacation. You'll find Southern hospitality, great beaches, plenty of restaurants, convenience stores, shopping, fishing, Fort Gaines, the Alabama Aquarium/Sea Lab, and the Mobile Bay Ferry. It's always wonderful to say, "Hello!" and always so hard to say, "Goodbye!"

This is a very small island and there is no grocery store so make sure you have the budget to dine out a lot or bring groceries with you. You MUST carve out some time (and appetite) to visit Skinners for their quality seafood dinners. There is another restaurant called Dority's...I'm not sure why they don't advertise themselves as a Chinese restaurant because they are indeed a Chinese restaurant. Nothing wrong with the food but not exactly outstanding either. The whole island is golf cart friendly and there are several public beaches that stay clean. We caught one of the Friday night free movies and that was a great experience too.

We enjoyed the East End and West End beaches as well as the Eco-park beach. The Middle beach was too far to walk. through the dunes. It was sad that dogs are allowed on every beach on Dauphin Island, except the West End beach.

This condo was clean and appeared just as the pictures showed. The bed was very comfy. The location was near all the island has to offer. The hosts are responsive and helpful. We would stay here again, although in an upper condo since there is no noise protection from those above.
