We visited the Timberline area for a ski trip with some friends. This is a new property and it was really, really nice and well equipped. It had everything we needed in the kitchen and in the bathroom. Hot tub was great and communication with the realtor was excellent. We Will definitely stay again in the future.

The location was excellent. The staff was friendly and the facility is very well organized, clean and easy to access. Everything is updated and beautiful. It is a small property but a great use of space everywhere. The mini-golf was not open because of the season but it was beautiful out front.

The property was wonderful! The host was the BEST and due to the time of our event in the area and the cabin not being booked the night before, they even allowed us to check in a little early to ensure we made it to our event on time with time to find the cabin and unpack in the daylight! The photos of the shower do not do it justice! It is huge! Will definitely stay here again in the future!

We stayed one night to visit Black Water Falls.

We stayed one night to visit Black Water Falls. When we checked out in the morning the wonderfully sweet girls working that morning had suggested a local adventure in the neighboring town. It was absolutely amazing, coal history, coke ovens, waterfalls ..they were beyond enthusiastic about us visiting the location. After we were done we went back to thank them for their suggestions. I think we made their day stopping back in and sharing the same enthusiasm they had suggesting our adventure in the first place. Stay, dinner and drinks were amazing as well, such a dreamy start to a week and a half adventure in WV!

Davis is a wonderful weekend town.

Davis is a wonderful weekend town. If you're here in the early week, you may have issues finding places that are open. The location is great - near walking and hiking trails, ski areas, kayaking, and other outdoor activities.

Came for the inaugural Moonlight on the Falls Marathon in Blackwater Falls State Park. Davis and nearby Thomas are quite small, mountain communities with a nice "boutique" feel to their shops and restaurants. No big chain restaurants or fast-food; instead, locally-owned specialty shops and restaurants made for interesting walks through these 2 towns. Davis and Thomas are both close to the park which has some gorgeous overlooks, trails, camping and cabins. Taking leisurely drives around the area's mountain roads was a joy, as well as visiting a few historical sites such as the Fairfax Stone site (headsprings of the Potomac river). Great area to get away from all the trappings of big cities!

Inn was located in the middle of Thomas and Davis which made it so convenient. We found the people of this community very friendly and helpful. The inn was kept very clean. They had a very nice picnic area with a fire pit which we used a couple of times.

Great location with a wonderful hot tub. The house has high end, quality furnishings both in furniture, bedding and kitchenware with an artistic mid mod vibe. Very close to restaurants, ski resort, state park. I would absolutely stay here again.

Must have been one of the worst hotels in my life. Dirty, broken beds, mold in the shower. Dirty carpets. and also unfriendly staff. When we asked where the entrance to the famous Blackwater Trail was, we were told: I have no idea. Have no time
