A great place to stay at Delta Junction! Room is clean and comfortable. Avon the host of lodge is such a nice person. It was -37F the other night and the battery of our Jeep is totally died in the morning. He helped us jumpstarted it four times and towed it to his friend’s garage to test. We wouldn’t make it to continue our journey without his help, big big thanks to Avon!

Delta Junction is a historic site and the end of the famous Alcan/Alaska Highway. The drive down the Richardson Highway is breathtaking and made the trip worth it just for the view. Eating options are somewhat limited, but the food we found was very good.

Trophy Lodge was a good place to spend a night and break up our trip from northeast of Fairbanks to Valdez. It was so convenient to have good food options available right where we were sleeping. Our room was clean and tidy and the food was delicious and filling.

Delta is a place to rest after a long day of traveling.

Delta is a place to rest after a long day of traveling. Dining, grocery and hotel accommodations are limited. Did enjoy a delicious buffalo burger and ice cream cone at a "seasonal" fastfood driveup.

Delta junction is a very small community.

Delta junction is a very small community. Wildlife is abundant and North Lights are easily seen. Very limited for food choices and not a tremendous amount to do for the family. What we found was excellent food at the 1-2 places and a couple of days is perfect.
