It's a comfort hotel, near to Blue Run trail (by foot), a very beautiful place to hike. Near to Cristal River too (25min by car). Great breakfast and coffee, tea and hot chocolate all day in the front desk. We could leave the luggage in the front desk after the checkout. We forget 1 suitcase and they gonna keep it until we can pickup. It was so good. KFC, Taco Bell and dukin donuts very close and gas station too, in a beautiful neighborhood. Free parking.

The communication with the host was great. The home was very clean and one of the most beautiful homes I have stayed in. The beds are comfortable, and I slept well. The location was quiet. We enjoyed the outside as there is a nice patio area with a large backyard, which is fenced for that extra privacy. There also was a bonus game room that was fun for the kids.

Rainbow River Springs is an awesome place to explore.

Rainbow River Springs is an awesome place to explore. You can tube ride from KP Hole park (4 hours) or Rainbow River State Park (2 hours) & they shuttle you back to your cars. You can also canoe, kayak or rent a boat for a trip down the river. The headsprings is a really cool place to take a nice long hike around waterfalls & then swim in the 70 degree water to cool off. Dinner at Swampy's on the river was a perfect way to finish a great day! We had a blast & will definitely be going back someday!

I love Rainbow Springs and have been here several times 💖 always a beautiful trip! Kayak tours with Get Up and Go are amazing!! You get a kayak with clear bottom you can see through and enjoy the crystal clear turquoise water under you 💜 Swampy's is a no.1 favorite restaurant! Delicious gator bites and their key lime pie is out of this world!! Definitely a must try of you are here :)

My trip was to visit family and explore along the Rainbow River. The DinnerBell was nicely located for that purpose. The river offers snorkling, swimming, kayaking, canoeing and a multitude of wildlife visuals on crystal clear water. Dunnellon has a modest number of eateries, a couple of supermarkets, and various retail opportunities for camping/river float gear. There's also a "float the river" service that provides flotation devices, transport to the state park on the river as well as pickup service down stream. A very nice and friendly town for an outdoor vacation. The Dinner Bell motel is a bare bones motel that works for a vacation that isn't centered on your indoor accomodations. It's clean, has a great shower with good water pressure and very comfortable beds. If you're a little snooty, there's a Comfort Inn that is about double the price. I highly recommend staying in Dunnellon for the convenience.

We went there to have a two days bike ride along the Withlacoochee State trail. Third day we rented very reasonably a motor boat and had a extremely pleasant ride along the Rainbow River for 3+ hours. Restaurants in area very affordable and good. Outside appearance of the Gator Den motel is extremely deceiving, they look like regular shabby motel, but inside rooms are surprisingly great. Great restaurant and boat rentals right there at the Motel property.

Dunnellon is a quaint country town located by beautiful Rainbow Springs! My brother has lived here for 25 years and loves it! I stayed at the Dinner Bell hotel which should be condemned it was so filthy…. Truly gross. Never again! City? Yes! Dinner Bell hotel? NO!

It was a decent place for the price , We cleaned our own room just felt more comfortable doing so ! Staff was friendly and accommodating ! The bed wasn’t to comfy ! But One of my main reasons for booking here was location tons of stores and restaurants all within walking distance really however we had a vehicle, for those who don’t good place to stay for location alone! The rainbow springs state park was about two miles up the road it was beautiful and only $2 to enter so there were things to do for reasonable prices as well! And manager was very sweet and tried to make our stay as pleasant as she could!,
