Bed was comfortable, water pressure was good. A nice and varied breakfast was served. The lobby is a pleasant place to sit. Staff were efficient friendly and polite. Laundry is available. Location was excellent, walking distance from the charming main street of Edmonds, and the waterfront and harbor.Walking distance to several restaurants.

My stay at Villa Rivarola was truly unforgettable. After a long day at the airport waiting for my luggage, I arrived at Villa Rivarola late in the evening, feeling tired and frustrated. However, Sophie and Pedro were like angels on that rainy Christmas night. They welcomed us with such warmth that it instantly felt like home. The room was spotlessly clean, cozy, and gave off a comforting, homely vibe. Since all the nearby restaurants were closed for the evening, Sophie went out of her way to cook a meal for us herself. We are deeply grateful to them for making us feel the kindness and warmth of humanity, even while far from home, on such a special day.

Our cities got hit with this bomb cyclone. People died down the street from us in Bellevue. I feel a lot of hotel prices went up immediately adding 100 plus onto their price tag. Best Western Alderwood did just the opposite in fact it costed less than it usually would to stay, I got an amazing deal on a King Suite for $111!!!!!!!!! Plus tax all total $127!!! That is insane. The next morning I came down for the biscuits that were not there. That being said, I am so glad they weren't (mostly). They had the best eggs I have ever tasted plenty of bacon hard boiled eggs (you know how best western does it). I had an amazing quality high protein breakfast! Everything was tasty, I even snuck a little waffle w nutella. WHICH you can make tiny waffles as well as the large ones. Perfect! My back hurt from the bed but let's be real, I am a big girl with chronic pain. Everything hurts. It isn't the soft beds fault I am too squishy to enjoy it. I habe been much smaller and there IS a difference in comfort. For my girlfriend, it was perfect. I want to give a HUGE shout out to Best Western for not taking advantage of people in this time but also, for going far above and beyond to make sure people are comfortable and well fed. The lemon water infuser was ice cold and tasted like fresh cold lemon water I would make. Most places, at 3 am, when I roam to my car and drink some coffee or cocoa, both the coffee and water are cold from sitting because it is the middle of the night. Even the water was hot. I have stayed here quite a few times now and will continue to return. Thank you Best Western Alderwood

As a quick 1-2 day trip this location is great, quiet, and clean. I drove over to pike place market explored there lots to see and eat! Edmonds was easy to navigate once getting into the bigger cities good luck.

If you are a tourist and looking to visit the usual sites...

If you are a tourist and looking to visit the usual sites this location is about 11 miles from downtown. Be aware that traffic can be very bad. There is the train and it is nice but takes about 45 minutes to get to downtown area and gets very crowded especially during rush hour. You can park at the station for free. If you do not mind driving then it is okay as a base. The motels tend to be cheaper near here then central Seattle or the airport

Edmonds is a charming town with a lovely downtown area...

Edmonds is a charming town with a lovely downtown area that's fun to explore. Pedro and Sophie's place is located in a quiet neighborhood that's a 20 minute walk from the downtown area. Enjoy the beautiful scenery and peacefulness of this home. It was so quiet, my partner and I had a restful, great sleep there. We were only there for one night and could have stayed another, for sure!

Edmonds is not Seattle but it is drivable to the waterfront...

Edmonds is not Seattle but it is drivable to the waterfront and so many different grocery stores including Trader Joe’s. We picked up lots of snacks and drinks. We also drove into the quaint town and loved it. So many cool restaurants and store fronts, great way to spend a day.

Hotel is not fancy but it is clean and the beds and Wi-Fi were great. Rooms had mni-fridge and single cup coffee maker, and microwave. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Great Value stay! PS. grocery store and restaurants in walking distance.

Our trip to Edmonds was short and limited to family business...

Our trip to Edmonds was short and limited to family business - so we weren't able to enjoy all of what Edmonds and the Seattle area have to offer. Edmonds is beautiful and has a "small town" feel - people are friendly. Many nice ethnic restaurants which we thoroughly enjoyed.

Hard working friendly staff, clean (microwave, fridge, bathroom, bed etc), comfortable hotel, with minimal noise and fast reliable internet - at a good price. Hot shower with good water pressure. You can see this is an older motel but there is a lot of effort to try and maintain it.

Position of the hotel was nice. Edmonds is a lovely, quiet suburb. If you are happy to catch the train in to Seattle and back during commuter times when it runs, it's a lovely scenic and comfortable trip. Outside of those times though it is a little trickier with transport.
