The beds were ridiculously comfortable. the room was extremely clean. I liked that the two room suite was truly a two-room suite and not just a wall divided room

Florence is a good ocean and river town to visit especially for Oregonians who live inland. With state parks, lakes, and sand dunes is offers a unique mix and offers a mix of outdoor activities year-round. Shopping or browsing shops in Old Town is delightful. Most disappointing is that the sidewalks roll up on restaurants and shops at 6 - 7 PM. When on vacation we expect to have evening as part if the day's adventures.

We managed to get out for a walk in the evening when it stopped raining and headed for the township to look for a place to dine. Should have gone earlier - the best places to eat were nearly all booked out, but we ended up having a lovely dinner at 1285 Restobar. We would have liked to have had more time to peruse all of the quaint little shops in the area, most were shut when we got there and we had to leave town early. Another day or 2 to explore would have been perfect.

Florence is a great smaller town to visit.

Florence is a great smaller town to visit. My wife and I come to Florence every June. Lots of things to do in the surrounding area. There are a couple of very nice rv parks for those traveling in motorhomes or trailers. Old town Bay Street is not to be missed. There are lots of very nice restaurants and also fast food places.

Florence is beautiful and it has beautiful beaches.

Florence is beautiful and it has beautiful beaches. We have stayed there before in other hotels and places. Old town is nice and driving on 101 North to Heceta Lighthouse is beautiful. There are many restaurants and places to walk and Riverhouse Cafe is a nice place to go have coffee and a snack.

A quant little town by the ocean.

A quant little town by the ocean. One of the nicest coastal towns on the Oregon coast and we have seen them all. The old town was charming, we had a great walk and ended it with a wonderful dinner with a view of the water

The area was beautiful, the town was larger than expected.

The area was beautiful, the town was larger than expected. I would have spent more time there to check out the different beaches, but we were traveling south, so it was the first overnight stay on our journey. They had a neat farmers market, but we got there on the last of the season and the last 20 minutes of it. I would definitely stop again in Florence.

The room was clean and the beds were comfy. The morning breakfast staff were extremely kind and kept the food stocked. They even made personal omelettes on demand! The location just on the outskirts of town and near the sanddunes was super convenient for us to experience the best of Florence. Beautiful scenic views over the estuary and the bridge crossing the river. The pool and two hot tubs were the cherry on top! Great place to stay with our kids!
