Fort Pierce is a gem.
Fort Pierce is a gem. It is the home of the Florida Highwaymen a group of artists from the 60s to present. There is a new museum which was not open when I was there. A. E. Backus museum is there. A great market where there are galleries and craft and food available. The Peacock house and the Heathcote Botanical Garden is there. The beach is close and Hutchinson Island, Vero Beach, Jensen Beach, Stuart all close. The artists M. Love, K, Hair and R. Edward's have galleries in town and other artists.

I was only there because my brother was in the hospital 10...
I was only there because my brother was in the hospital 10 minutes away. But I’ve gone through Fort Pierce many, many times over my past 50 years in Florida. I was very happily surprised at the quality of this hotel in the conference.

I like the beach areas of ft pierce.
I like the beach areas of ft pierce. Some parts I wouldn't go at night. Some parts not in daytime either. Like any bigger city. Police presence is usually always visible. Tho not always a deterrent unfortunately. However I have not had same feeling in the beachfront areas or ear doctors and city buildings.

The bars and restaurants here are excellent.
The bars and restaurants here are excellent. Ft.Pierce town is lovely , there is a great market every Saturday.The weather was very strange for October, more like summer , very hot and humid, with heavy showers and very windy, we couldn’t get on the beach sometimes and the sea was very rough. However, the locals said this is not normal for this area.

They could have added a coffee maker and an extra roll of tp there was no phone in the room which was strange the window was in the back of your room instead of the front so you couldn't keep a good eye on your car. We were right next door to taco bell wich was a plus.

We stayed close to Jetty Park.
We stayed close to Jetty Park. We really enjoyed the beach and the river. We have been to Ft Pierce before but this is our first time in this area. Great places to eat, I would recommend Archie's Seabreeze, all their menu is very good. If you are in this area on the weekend, check out the drive-in theater. We saw the Garfield movie on a Saturday night. They had all the typical movie concessions and an ice cream truck was there as well with great milkshakes. There is great fishing around the Jetty. There was a beach, swimming area on the river side where the water was calm and numerous ocean beach areas where the water was fairly rough during our stay which my daughter loved on her little body board. Very quiet on the beach and not too many people. Jetty park itself has a lot of parking but was very busy our whole weekend there.

Fabulous condo with all amenities which had been renovated to a very high standard. Nice balcony view overlooking a pond with a fountain. The whole resort was extemely well maintained with 24 hour security at the main gate. The brand new pool area was wonderful; plenty of loungers / umbrellas etc; great tiki bar. Easy access to the beach. Short drive to local restaurants & bars on the island - a little further drive into Fort Pierce gave one plenty more options.

Just across the road from the beach public access. 2-3 restaurants within walking distance. Quiet road down to the Navy Seals museum at Fort Pierce (A1A) which avoided the main US1 highway. Good parking at the property with allocated spaces.

Everything was perfect. The hotel is super clean, almost new, with a very relax service and cool staff. Excellent option for accessing the best beaches of Florida's Treasure Coast. The suite had all amenities.
